bouncin' out of court

Post by tacoboy » Fri Feb 16, 2007 6:13 pm

HOORAY!!!!! Tigger has been acquitted of all charges in the abuse case. It seems that after careful review by prosecuters, the son did, in fact, start the problem and tigger just acted in self defense! They also concluded that the family seemed to be in it for money rather than justice! :D:

here's the link for this wonderful story!

What bothers me is the obvious bias of the news report linked to. It's as though they wanted Tigger to be fired and procecuted.

Woo hoo!! Justice has been served!!! Tsk, tsk tsk, I dislike people. They would do ANYTHING for money! I knew there was something fishy about this story. Disney CMs won't hot anyone for no apparent reason, we all wanted to!! Hahaha!!

The reports seemed to be bias, making Tigger look bad.

Well, well. For once Disney didn't back down. If it's on 'tape', kinda hard to dispute.
Now,if the media would just pony up,to their F-up.

That's great news although I can't believe how biased the first article was. Obviously the cast member isn't going to say anything while there is the possibility of a law suit pending. (Disney's laywers would have already told him this and hopefully he would have legal council of his own too).

I still think Disney should fight this one if the family tries to sue. Incidently, the refusal of the prosecuter to persue charges could be a useful statement in any trial. If if does go to trial I hope they get a jury and Disney countersues. I can't see how anyone could watch that video clip and not find in favour of Tigger (and Disney). But even more than that, I hope the cast member here gets some justice of his own.

I did originally find the story (stories) from thrill network (i have an update bar on my google hompage) but i wanted to put up the news story from somewhere else since i had been posting many many thrill network news stories. I will probably rely on them more now since that story was EXTREMELY biased.

Sadly this will never happen. Disney will most likely settle out of court for a rediculous amount of money. The CM will be re-instated since there is no actual proof of wrongdoing. And finally, admission prices will be raised to compensate the unnessecary expendatures and as an attempt to keep out the riff raff pond scum in the future.

You got me started with this last paragraph. You're exactly correct. The SGs and other stupid people on the earth are causing most of us to bear the cost of their ignorance. People put their feet on restaurant seats. They have to be replaced. Who bears the cost? SG sit on the queue railings and they break. Admission prices have to increase to make up the cost. Wheelies on kids make my visit to the parks uncomportable. I could go on and on. I see people driving with their kids standing on the front seat. This is against the law! However, they will probably tell you they can do anything they want. If they wreck and the child becomes brain injured, who will bear the cost for the extra medical expenses? Who will fund the Special Educational programs for the handicapped child? (Deep breath.)

THANKS. I needed to get that off my chest.

Actually I read that the CM has been vindicated by Disney and is back on the job.

But I have several questions that remain:

1) Was the CM suspended without pay? If so, did Disney reimburse him ?

2) If a civil lawsuit is filed, will Disney pay the lawyer fees for the CM ? I guess it depends on how the lawsuit is filed. IE: Would you want to (civil) sue a CM, or sue "Daddy Warbucks" Disney?

Sure a civil lawsuit is possible, but does the family want to risk bad publicity now that the CM has been vindicated ?

Is the Today show (or whichever morning show that had the family on, whining) going to run a Followup story? Probably not.

Disney SHOULD reimburse him if he got suspended for something he didn't do.
