All in all, after reading all of your stories I still want to work at Disneyland. It seems like a very rewarding job. CM's get to help create the magic for everyone as good as any ride or show can. Sure you have to put up with stupid and rude guests but any jobs that involve talking to people have thier share of rude and stupid guests(Disneyland just has a bit more :0 ). I have to once again thank you all for making Disneyland the happiest place on earth.
Apply soon we are especially hiring in Attractions in Tomorrowland because of the addition of the new Subs Attraction. We are going to get hit hard when it opens so they are bringing in people like crazy. also Attractions Operations is the best way to learn how things work if you want to be a maintenance cast member. My Uncle did it when he was 18 and now hes an engeneer in charge of Safety for WDW.
I love the guests who treat me like Im actually there and take the time to ask me how my day is going. If they really make me smile i might slip them a Re-ad or some fastpasses. Also the best part of being a CM is my fellow CM's. They are the ones who really get me through my day and the support from them is amazing. Its kind of tough at first when your new but as you extend your network you make TONS of friends to last you a life time.

If you cant stand in lines then you should get the stamp that MEANS you cant stand in lines (the arrows stamp) A lot of people cant grasp this concept and i explain to them they can go back to city hall and get the correct stamp if need be... But thanks for playing! Go ahead and go back then we can try again.
Actually, you can't tell them they got the wrong stamp and to go back to city hall and get the correct one. The guest already talked about it to guest relations and the guests have been accomandated to their specific needs. I just hate it that once I them that the wheelchair stamp goes in the stand by queue, they come back and tell me that I am wrong. I tell them that each attraction's policy is different. If they make a big deal, I hand them fast passes and let them go through the fast pass line just to shut them up.
Attractions:
Rocket Scientist at "HISTA"/ Astro Orbitor,
Space Ranger at Buzz Lightyear Astro Blasters
Fantasmic!
The POD
RDCT Fireworks
