-Watching the little kids run up to the characters
-Having my sister tell me I was the coolest when I first told her I got the job at WDW
-The first (and every other time) I got Cast Member of the Month
-Getting my one year pin
-When I was told I got picked as an Area Trainer
-Free stuff!
-The discount ;)

I'll agree with that one. I opened Nightmare all this past winter and the best was walking there. The water from the puddles would be soaked up by my skirt but I didn't care. There was a certain aura that couldn't be explained except by maybe saying that you really did feel that you were part of something special.

I think for my rookie memory I'd have to say the first show I ever did. I was Happy/Grumpy/Doc/Sleepy/Sneezy/Scrooge McDuck in Light Magic. It was the first thing I ever did with Disney. Opening night I was Doc and I was having such a GREAT time playing with the guests when we first walked out that I TOTALLY missed my queue. I just remember feeling so incredible. Along with that I also have to include my last performance with LM. My family came to see me and I got to pull my little sis out into the street. Although it's totally normal to me, she's just my sister, I guess I really moved every guest and CM that saw Happy dancing with some little girl in a wheelchair. I have pictures from it and I treasure them with all my heart.

Oh, one more... another one of my favorite memories was when I did a PA for a certain red-headed kid. One of the easiest PA's I ever had to do and one that I guess you can say that changed my life forever.

One of my all time favorite memories was of a hispanic man that came up to me in my first year of working at DL. He only spoke a little bit of English. He asked me where in DL he could find rides that were good for older kids. I told him that Indiana Jones was a great ride for older kids and that there were a couple of rides in Tommorrowland that older kids would enjoy.

Him: Oh, you mean I have to go there tommorrow?
Me: No, you can go there today.

A great guest memory, and it was one of the rare times a guest improved my day.

I had a guest today (a 6 year old kid) tell me a joke:

Question: Why did Mickey Mouse go into Space?

Answer: Because he wanted to see Pluto

I thought it was really cute.

aww... I think it's so cute when little kids tell us jokes, even if they're ones we've heard over and over... it's always cute coming from little kids, tho I can't really say the same thing for the times when adult guests feel the urge to talk my ear off for 15 minutes telling me a bunch of Disney jokes they think are hilarious (but aren't).

Today one of my managers was working next to me, helping us out cuz it got pretty busy in the afternoon. Then this elderly lady in a wheelchair came by and we were talking to her and the group she was with. I came in part way through the conversation when they were all talking about wanting fries... then the manager decided to go to another location to get fries for them. It was really sweet. Those are the types of managers that totally rock. I love watching other cms make magic for guests... or even better, seeing a guest make a magical moment for a cm.

God must love stupid people. He made so many of them.

I saw this topic last week and it got me thinking. So sitting in class I started writing a list of my favorite memories. So here they are....
* First time walking on stage in costume
* Getting nicknamed and knowing it has stuck when a manager slips up and calls you it.
* Denny's trips and all the drama that goes with it
* Good times at TGI Fridays
*When you get caught playing with a kid and you are acting really wierd and you look up to see youve been caught by another cast member and they cant stop laughing
* The first kid to give you a hug after getting off your ride
* Taking a kid on the ride and all he can say is that it is beautiful
* My favorite the fun parties that we all have
* Playing frisbee with a burnt tortilla on grad night

Wow there are many more but these are some of my favorites. :P

Right I get it....you really are that stupid

Haha.. I always liked

Question: Why did Tigger look in the toilet?

Answer: He was trying to find Pooh.

Not so much a work-safe one. :) I have never told it to anyone.

Two days before Christmas last year (2006), I had the honor of selecting a lucky family to give a behind the scenes tour of the attraction to along with the chance to ride again. I spotted a boy with a birthday pin named "Alex" and asked him if he and his parents were interested. They didn't hesitate to say yes.

After giving them a behind the scenes tour and the chance to ride again, I got more than a handshake from Alex. I got my very first hug from a guest. I had a warm sensation inside of me. I knew the magic was alive once again.

To make his birthday happier, he met his favorite characters (Darth Vader and the Stormtroopers). Because I loaded him and his family onto the ride as well (the rotation sent me to a simulator), I made everyone inside the cabin sing him "Happy Birthday" although the line was extremely long. Alex was overwhelmed with all the surprises. He gave me another hug which made me feel even better. For the first time ever, I was totally appreciated by a guest. It's so hard to find another person like Alex who is very appreciative and thankful for everything that happens to him.

Alex, if you are reading this, or perhaps your parents are, I want to thank you for brightening that day for me. I was having a terrible week with horrible and disgraceful guests. Thank you so much for changing that for me. You are an angel! God Bless You!

Love going to T.G.I.Fridays and Denny's after work with the parades, Fantasmic!, and Buzz kids!!

Then the debate of Westside Vs. Eastside. Being asked whom I reside with, lol!!

Playing "War" at Fantasmic! and getting "captured" by foods, lol!! Not I can say that I have worked in ALL the sections!!

Gotta love the cliches(sp?) of marriage proposals in front of the castle before, and after, fireworks.

Working guest control on parades and Fantasmic!

Dancing before the parades to entertain the guests.

Getting a kiss on the cheek from a young girl who got scared during HISTA when I gave her a sticker to make her feel better.

More to come....
