Your Pet Peeves

Been awhile but as the summer comes to an end here are my end of summer pet peeves.

--Guests who ask if the ducks are real. No folks we wind them up every morning, the newer looking ones are Solar powered.

Giggle. I took a friend who asked me if the swans in front of the castle were animatronic. :D:

As I always say, "Disneyland is a family park, not apark to create a family!"

The one thing that annoys me the most are the swords and the blasters!!!! Young kids playing and swinging them and hitting other people and the parents do nothing about them. And those blasters, the young childing playing with them EVERYWHERE with that annoying sound!! Aaaaaaaarrrrrrrrgggggghhhhh!! It is so annoying!!

You know i was the same way about the blasters... until my trainer at buzz actually gave one to me for signing off. Those things are amazing when you are in control of them. But i do agree that every kid should be kicked in the face if they are just holding the trigger down for like 5 hours!!!

well here it goes:

1. Me: how many in your party?
SG: all of us...(waves arm in a circle motion)
Me:and how many would that be?
SG: every one right here

2. idiots who jump out to the left at unload at buzz and cause an intrusion

3. a group of two or three who look like they are headed for the same cruiser then at the LAST second they decide to all go on their own cruiser by themselves pushing past the little kid who was about to get in the one behind them. thus cause my belt to overcrowd

4. People who WILL NOT get out of a cruiser because they want go again and make me stop the freaking thing.

5. People who do not speak English.

6. The deer in the Headlights look

7. People who yell at me when doing GC in the hub because Theyve "Gone through this circle 3 F---ing times!" and then Demand to know where it leads.
well... It is a CIRCLE!!!! But thanks for playing anyway...

8. Know it all Teenagers

9. GAC guests who demand to be let through the fast pass because their card has a wheelchair stamp on it. sorry kids but thanks for playing. You need arrows to go through this way. yeah shoulda got a real wheelchair or got a dif stamp.

10. suggestions from SG's on how we could do our job better to solve their individual prob.
[indent]eg: i saw some lady stealing stuff out of my stroller over there.(points to a sea of strollers) You should really stand over there and keep an eye on the strollers to make sure nothing happens to them. yeah happened today. [/indent]

11. the question "why?" BECUASE I WORK HERE THATS WHY!!!!!!

Me: well sir you paid for my work this week, thank you. but still the answer is no. and honestly you paid way too much. I dont come here as a guest and i get in FREE.

13. Smokers who pretend to hide their ciggerettes or just keep walking when told to put it out.

15.The attraction Buzz Lightyear's Ass Blaster. Yes I hate my own attraction. if you want to know how to work it."get in"..."get out" you have now passed and you may now also work at buzz

16. Idiots who come after the parade has started and demand to be let through the parade so that they can get to their party or because they want to ride Indiana Jones.

17. Kids who ask 543873246650432690925 questions about star wars at star tours... Like I said on another thread there is ONLY ONE Return.....

19.Off Duty CM's whom I have never seen before trying to tell me how to do my job because theey know better

20 NH's who think they know everything about an attraction because they JUST read the OG. Thanks for playing though. The rest of us read it too...

21.Are the ducks real? Yup and they make Real Loud POP when the monorail runs them over.

22. :barf: Code V's in the walkways or queus of the attractions

23. Ropes that arent wrapped on the bone correctly so i have to search for the right rope on the bone.

24. people stopping in my walkway

25. people going the wrong way in my walkways

26. CM's who demand special treatment at the attractions. Just cus you work here doesnt mean you get to go through fastpass.

29. Inn Between food.... Theres a reason its called Inn Between. and Its location isnt it...

Your trainer was Steve S. wasn't it?? Every trainer has there own thing. Steve buys his trainees blasters. Anthony brings his trainees cookies.

Yeah for about 3 seconds until I met The old crew at ST... They are vicious to NHs. But at the same time they are really cool once you get to know them...

A group of us used to stand at the river's edge (back when Magic Morning included the area up to the Pirates bridge) with large Futaba remote controls (where the people on the bridge could see). Right as the rope would drop to open up NOS, we'd put them away and start heading backstage. We would get the inevitable question "What are you guys working on?" Our reply...."Just reprogramming the ducks" and keep walking. The looks we got were priceless. That was also when "fun" was allowed at work.
