From a CM's point of view, the whole issue of the wieght SG complaints get at Disney seems pretty troubling to me. One of the few GREAT things about the park I work at is how understanding our managment is. If we have a guest issue that ends up having a supervisor involved, the supe usually does a lot (more than they should in a lot of cases (IMO of course)) to smooth things over with the guest. About 9 times out of 10, the guest will accuse the associate of being the real issue, but we never hear anything back about it. They realize that tempers flair with guests, and that they blame the first person they see.

One time where a guest flew off the handle, called me a "fucking asshole" in front of me and my supe, who responded "I can totally see where you are coming from" :duh: This should have lead to his response escalating, and technically security being called, but instead he gave into the guest, and told another supe that I was rude to the guest. I found out about that, and took my concern of not being backed up to my manager. My manager actually went to bat and corrected the situation with the supervisor.
From what I've read, it doesn't sound like things work this way at Disney.
