Is it illegial?
Hello everyone,
I'm new to this site so please send me eamils and stuff... so I can feel part of the group.
Anyway.... If i were to do a production of the musical Fantasmic in my backyard... would it be liiegal...

You better have a DAMN BIG backyard (room for GC,porta-potties,concessions)and of course 'understanding' neighbors.

Well, if you rented the books and sheet music from the supplier, and pay the appropriate royalty from admission, you'd be ok. Otherwise, it would be questionable, as the Fantastiks is recent enough to not be in the public domain for at least another forty to fifty years.

This is a very serious crime. If you do this, the Disney KGB will send out a helicopter with some missiles and terminate the proformance.

Your missing the point. This is hardly the place to ask. Not only did you post in the wrong forum but you also asked a very stupid question of the wrong people. BUTTTTTT... To answer your question. No it would probably not be noticed if you set up a production of Fantasmic! in your own back yard, provided you did not charge anyone to see it.
