Overheard SG Comment
We just went to DL the Monday and Tuesday before Thanksgiving and we had a great time!
We went without our young daughter this time and we got to do the Holiday Time walking tour. I have to give kudos to Kevin, our tour guide! He was great (and so much more enthusiastic than the other tour guide we overheard monotonously giving her speach).
In chatting with another family on our walking tour we heard about the funniest SG comment - I wish I could have heard it first hand.
This family was riding POTC that morning right after park opening. Another lady on their boat, as they are floating past the Blue Bayou said, "That's wierd, yesterday afternoon when we rode this ride they had a whole bunch of anamatronic people in the resturant. I wonder why they took them all out?"
We heard quite a few other SG comments this trip, but this one took the cake!
I also want to thank all you hard working CM's out there who were wonderful and helpful, even though the park was so crowded. I am glad we were leaving before Wednesday - our waiter at the Blue Bayou warned us that the Wednesday before Thanksgiving would be insane! Why do people insist on visiting DL around a holiday and then walk around ticked that the park is so crowded, lines are so long, etc, etc?
Thank you all for doing what you do! We love coming to DL and we always have a wonderful time! Please know that you are appreciated and that not all guests are SG's.

Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

That's so funny! Whenever I go to eat there, we always try to get a table right by the water. I'll make sure to wave all jerky like a robot when a boat goes by next time. That'll really freak out guests! I'm sure it will help even more if I wear my pirate bandanna. People will think a animatronic got loose like on the Itchy and Scratchy land episode of the Simpsons. Ooh, evil idea forming..

Aaahh, Disney magic.
A couple of years ago,we were riding the train. As we went around the back-side of D/L my dw spotted the coral where they keep the Mainstreet horses. She says "They look so real". I told her "Honey, they 'are' real", everyone within ear-shot chuckled .

I still joke with my ex-husband ( my kids dad ) about the time we went to Disneyland ( before I was A CM ) and he asked if the store we bought a hat at does embroidery as the CM was leaning against the machine. She just looked at us with that ever present look of ultimate patience and said, "Why, yes we do." I saw her eyes dart downwards and so did he. He felt like such a dork and said so to her. She smiled and told him don't worry. It happens all the time.
