Re: Year of a Million Problems
If they handing out dreams then they will delete all records of me at the parks, give me a life time premium pass to all parks, and make me the CM in charge of special needs guests for all parks.
I want my dream fulfilled and that is it and do not forget my ECV and costume. Churchy waits for dreams that will never come true at Disney for her. Poke Eisener.

Great dream darph :) Go back to your nap with an extra cool brew  as CM raises are definitetly NOT on the Disney table for YMD. :twisted:darph nader wrote:OK. here's my idea of YoMD. Mr.Iger proclaims " All CMs get $2.00/hr raise".

I forgot to mention. (I should have taken a picture of the sign). It said that the sodas were free and there was another line at the bottom which said "Part of the Disney Difference" WTFPolar33 wrote:Yah...somebody in TDA needs to get more original with this particular "dream". Every time they want to celebrate something special they give out free sodas. I'm sure it's a nice bonus to everybody else, but as a foods CM it's somewhat insulting...what's next free air?![]()

Hmm. I don't think any CM's dream or wish was to have free soda. My idea would be to have a few more CM nights besides just Christmas or some random special event. The park closes at 8 on weekdays now! Give the CM's a damn reward and let them come in to enjoy the park without SG's. Is that too much to ask for? Oh and let them have their discounts for those nights.

I know of other companies that feed their employees for free every day. Talk about a difference. Not only that, the food tastes like people food instead of puppy chow. Oh yeah, they pay more too - my dream for everyone - "Earn a living wage - the Disney Difference."Wizard69 wrote:I forgot to mention. (I should have taken a picture of the sign). nVidia, Google, companies like that. But, they also expect you to put in 16 hours a day every day.BirdMom wrote:I know of other companies that feed their employees for free every day. Don't be fooled by appearances. In Hawaii, some of the most powerful people look like bums and stuntmen.

Re: Year of a Million Problems
The food there is way better than any other park (at least for the guests). They have Panda Express, El Pollo Loco, Pizza Hut, Dodger Dogs! We have shitty cafeteria food. I don't know if they are allowed to eat on stage or get food from on stage though. When I went there last week I didn't notice if any of their employees were eating on stage.Polar33 wrote:I can't speak for the quality of the food, but I've heard from former vendors that now work at Universal Studios that they give their people meal vouchers each day to use for their food. Granted, it's because they don't allow them to carry cash so they can figure out easily who is stealing, but it's a free meal none the less.

Re: Year of a Million Problems
Polar33, not doubting you but how can an employer ban an employee from carrying cash? This question sounds stupidPolar33 wrote:Granted, it's because they don't allow them to carry cash so they can figure out easily who is stealing, but it's a free meal none the less.
