I don't know, the difference between getting paid and not getting paid is a pretty small distinction. ;)BRWombat wrote: :) Hey, as long as you still get your paycheck, you're good.

1) Place of birth: Plympton, Mass
2) Where you've lived the longest: Kingston, Mass for 17 yrs now
3) My hometown: definitely Kingston, Mass I love the locale, just enough business to keep occupied and shop, but still very quiet town. Excellent schools, and nice recreational programs (camp) for the kids.
4) Most unusual place: I guess it would have to be when I lived in Halifax Mass....I spent almost a yr in my sisters unheated basement (rent was cheap)
and my entrance was this big barn door outside...no way in from inside the house.
5)Where you'd live if you could live anywhere: I think I'd stay right here in Kingston Mass. Most of my family is within a 15-20 min drive and I can reach Mickey in under 4 hours!!

Reminds me of one of my (sadly rare) visits to the Comedy Warehouse. It was on a night when Pleasure Island was open to CPs, so the show was filled with inside jokes. One improvised song was based on a CP audience member's complaint that her roommate chewed her fingernails. One verse ended something like this:
I don't mind if she bites her fingernails, in fact it's kind of neat,
'Cause when you work for Disney, that's all you can afford to eat!
:) :)

Re: Hometown fun
Is this category restricted to Disney folk, or can KBFers join in too?, Ah, I'll jump in anyway, what the hey....
Birthplace: Shirley, MA (I'm an Army brat)
Lived longest: El Toro, CA (now Lake Forest)--14 years.
Most unusual place lived in: York, PA, at my grandparents' place. My mom dragged me over there with her, and it's okay if you're a history freak, but the weather and the fact everyone there is like 20 years behind the times really sucks.
Where you'd most like to live?: In the desert area of northeastern L.A. County. My dream is to build a house and farm (read: really low grocery bills!).
Oh, I forgot-- place you consider to be your hometown: Hard to say a specific place, as all had their pluses and minuses. And sadly, through the years, all the places I've lived and loved have changed so much they no longer attract me. But definately L.A. (can't wait til the Griffith Observatory reopens next month, though I don't see how I'm going to get there.).

Re: Hometown fun
1) Place of Birth - Ann Arbor, MI
2) Lived the longest - Ann Arbor, MI - 22 years
3) Hometown - again, Ann Arbor. Granted, all my family has left, and most of my friends have moved on, but it's still home to me.
4) Most unusual - Utrecht, Netherlands. I actually attended a Dutch-speaking kindergarten, despite, at the time, speaking absolutely no Dutch. (I don't now either, but for a short when I was 6, I learned some)
5) Place I most want to live? Mars. And it just so happens that Google is attempting to establish a colony there. http://www.google.com/virgle/index.html
