Sorry. If we started posting everyone's objections to all of the other Disney forums out there, this thread would soon be longer than "Here's Your Sign". :o:

And anyway, the last time I checked this was not a site for pointless flaming about other boards. This is is a place for people to share their stories of stupid guests, hence the name. If anyone is still confused, look at the main page for the guidelines. Like Cujo says, this may not be the forum for you if you cannot follow the rules. Just my personal opinion, folks.

I'm pretty sure I know that Mansion blonde that he's talking about...and she has a really serious boyfriend and I'm sure she'd probably not be ok with hugging a random (little bit on the creepy side) guest.

I must say that the responses to the OP surprised me - like we've just entered the twilight zone! Unless I was a meet-and-greet character, I would be creeped out if a 30 year old came up and asked me for a hug. Especially if I felt it was just because I was cute. I would, however, feel obligated as not to disappoint the guest - and thus sort of violated.

I suggest that we stack the bodies in the cellar, lock it, leave quietly one at a time and forget that any of this has ever happened...

Well, there are two ways to take our new member: One is to take him at face value -- a guest who's slightly clue deficient, possibly low IQ, and perhaps even emotionally challenged. I think this is what we're all hoping for, and what we're replying to. We have some regulars like this, and we love them.

The second way to take him is as a dangerous stalker nutcase. Those here who think this more likely probably aren't posting about him at all in hopes he'll just go away. Unfortunately, we have a few regulars like this, too, which is why the parks have security and SGT has moderators.

SGT and Disney both welcome everybody who will play nice -- even if they've gotten into trouble elsewhere. Both also are willing to take appropriate steps with guests who don't play nice, which should be all that needs saying on this point.

I'm one of those people that doesn't like to be touched unless I know you and trust you. I like it when people keep their hands to themselves. So...yeah.

Awesome, Zazu. Very well said.
