When HC/SAPs attack

Post by Freak » Fri Apr 14, 2006 8:46 am

Ohmigawd. Okay, yesterday down at Xcel, we were on one train op all day. During the middle of the day & also near say...early night, we had like....90870987345 HC/SAP guests come up. It was so bad. I was up on Load 2, and had to keep holding cars for the SAP guests. Guests that had been waiting in line = NOT HAPPY. I mean, I had guests waiting in line starting to insult/call out some of the SAPs who sorta...well, ran to the car they were assigned and hopped in. Bad times.

The thing that got me is they came out of NOWHERE. I swear, all the HC/SAPs like get all together and plan to hit rides all at once. So bad. So, anyone else have a time where they pretty much had to hold 1+ car for SAPs? Were your normal guests happy with it?

When I worked there, I did have a couple of times in Camp Snoopy where it was nothing but HCs for at least one cycle. Once on Woodstock's Airmail, I had a couple of teens who were learning disabled, and they wanted to ride again and again. I finally had to tell them that they had to wait out a cycle before getting back on again. Needless to say, people were not happy. There was this one lady standing by the fence, asking why they had been let on ahead of everyone else. I explained the HC ploicy, and she looked at the kids with the HC passes and said, "Those kids don't look handicapped to me." I told her that there are differant handicaps, not all are physical or visible, and that if according to their doctor the person is handicapped, they get certification from their doctor, get a HC pass, and that gets them on ahead of others, as long as they otherwise qualify. Face it, anytime anyone is percieved by others to be getting special treatment, they will scream "Unfair". BTW, are you on the Knott's site yet? If not, use Yahoo to access, and go to http://www.kbfdrama.com.

Yeah, Ive been to KBFDrama before, I dont like the feel though, theyre just angry at everything, I dont fit in over there.

Today was interesting. I ended up just holding the gates and loading an entire train of SAPs today. TOO MANY PEOPLE.
