Re: Tommorrowland Riot
Grrrr...
Now next time, we're probably going to hear something along the lines of "But last time CM #1 let me in, why are you being so mean to me now?"

"But I can do whatever I want. You cant tell me what to do, I've been coming here for 20 years. If I want to go on a ride, you can't stop me"

I'm confused, though -- I thought they couldn't force you to extend if you were less than three hours from the end of your shift. Or is that only a Disneyland thing?
Re: Tommorrowland Riot
I have started getting the feeling that we the castmembers are no longer getting the support we need from our GSM's. this is a prime example. there was no reason for us to reopen the attraction just to please one stupid family. and besides, i personally feel that getting paid $7.10 an hour is no where near enough to put up with that nonsense! guests need to realize that their crap smells just as bad as everyone else's!

And this is true even when it's rolled up in a used diaper, because you never know when somebody will drop and step on it, sharing the love with everyone in a 10-foot radius.divermaid wrote:guests need to realize that their crap smells just as bad as everyone else's!
Oh yeah, it was one of *those* days today....

i feel you Zazu. i was finishign up my To-Go work the other night when a guy, a young guy, walks in with a diaper looking around my area for a trashcan. i had just emptied mine and told him we have trashcans in the back when he proceeded to walk INTO the kitchen with a dirty diaper in hand. i stopped him before he got anywhere near food..had o put the diaper in my just cleaned trashcan because dork-man couldn't have done this in the bathroom.Zazu wrote:And this is true even when it's rolled up in a used diaper, because you never know when somebody will drop and step on it, sharing the love with everyone in a 10-foot radius.

They knew the ride was closed and infact the ride was in theprosessof being broke down for the night, but they didn't care. THEY WERE GOING TO RIDE. Guest family #1 says that this was the only reason they came tothe park was to ride on Space MT. Guest Family #2 said that they were there at 11:00 and we closed 5 mins early. Nowof corse they want to speak to a manager or a supervisor so one came out. Then the next thing u know is tempers start flaring up. Theres a crowd getting unruely outside. Finally Security, Managers, and Supervisors show up. They were all saying know until somehow they decied at 11:30 to let them ride. SO u know that ticked off every CM that had to go and start the ride again and because they counld go home yet. So once again this proves that nomatter what time the park closes if u want to ride a ride and cause a big enough scene, u will get to ride the ride. because of one thing.... DISNEY CAN NOT SAY NO!!!
Hehe, it's the same in resorts as well. One time a gsm in our area gave a person at least 1000 dollars worth of free stuff just because something was mispelled. Trust me, management just doesn't know how to say no or when to stop with guests. All they care about is making themselves look good no matter what.
