A polite request

Post by CBeilby » Sat Mar 25, 2006 2:52 pm

A friend of mine who is severely hypoglycemic (critically low blood sugar) is going to be visiting on the fourth and fifth, and wants my wife and I to go to Disneyland with her, both as friends, and in case she goes into a seizure. We have enough tickets to cover all of us, except for one person for the second day. Is there any CM out there who either has a comp, or would be willing to sign one person in on April 5th? Please contact me via PM if you can help.

Can we use our sign in April 5th? Spring Break & all. Haven't even looked @ my Main Gate pass since Jan. I'll try to help if you don't go too early. Early & I don't mix well. :)

Thanks for the offer, Main Streeter. I think that Lady Ulrike's got it covered. As for whether Main Gates are blacked out for spring break, I unfortunately can't answer that any more (maybe in June if I come back then...)

Oh, one more thing. It's been about four months, so I may have forgotten. Since I'm coming to the park with someone who has a severe medical condition, I'm creating some cards with the vital information that Control would ask for if we should have to get First Aid out to the area, so that if she goes into a seizure, we can just hand one of these to a Lead or CM for when they call. IIRC, they need:

Name
Age
Height
Weight
Description (Eyes and Hair, plus clothes should be good for this)
and the Medical Condition

Is there anything I'm missing?

Good. Glad you have sign in. :) Lady Ulrike always seems to help everyone. She's a great CM. Blackout dates for Main Gate passes are April 7 - 23. Knew we had some.
Enjoy DL!

How about types of seizures she has? Grand or petit. Her treating physician contact. Overall health otherwise. Her address & family contact/next of kin. Hospital usually used. Does she function well on her own when not having a seizure? Just a few which may be useful for her well being.
