I know someone who recently got hired part-time for Tomorrowland Attractions. She's excited about it, but wasn't sure on a few things:
1)Will she be trained on all the attractions right from the start, or will she learn them over time?
2)Are you assigned to a specific attraction all day, every day, or do you go through all of them in one day?
Thanks!

Re: Question(s) for WDW/MK Castmembers
It varies. I know some people that are trained in every attraction in T-land and I know some that are trained in one attraction. So it depends on where they are needed. If they are trained on one attraction they will stay on that attraction all day, but I believe that if they are cross-trained they will jump from attraction to attraction. The best thing for her to do would to be ask her trainer because they would actually know more on the training for the land.BTTF4Life wrote:I know someone who recently got hired part-time for Tomorrowland Attractions. Re: Question(s) for WDW/MK Castmembers
To answer your first question, It's actually specific to the area of attractions you are trained in. For example: If you are training at Space Mountain or the Indy Speedway you just train in those attractions individually. If you train in the Tomorrowland Complex, you learn all the remaining attractions of the area. That consists of Buzz Lightyear, Carousel of Progress, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Stitch's Great Escape, Astro Orbiter and The Timekeeper (if it was still open). You learn all the Complex attractions through your whole training period.BTTF4Life wrote:1)Will she be trained on all the attractions right from the start, or will she learn them over time?

Answer to your second question depends on the first answer. If you are at the Tomorrowland Complex, you can work almost all the attractions in one day. I tend to get stuck with the stitch rotation or the end of the TTA rotation (Bottom Astro to TTA load to Astro Top)
I hope this helps.
You! OFF the red carpet!

Tomorrowland is one of the best places to work, you have variety, and it's not annoying like fantasyland. The people there are amazing like Rocketboat! Ah, I miss it sooo much, they are great there.
Re: Question(s) for WDW/MK Castmembers
There will be days where you can be stuck at the same position or attraction all day (SGE 4 days straight for me, ugh) and there will be days you could work a position at every attraction there (Carousel of Progress, Astro Oribiter, Tomorrowland Transit Authority, Buzz Lightyear's Space Ranger Spin, SGE, and Timekeeper Christmas Eve, that was a fun day!!!). It is all up to the CDS (cast deployment system).
And for the first question, you learn it all in a weeks time.

Thanks for the replies. She'll find out when she starts what area she'll be in.
