Alternate Names for 'Fantasmic!'

Post by Felix the Cat » Sun Jan 29, 2006 11:57 pm

One annoying thing about working around the Rvers of America at night on the weekend is guest coming up to you and asking you 'What time is Fantasmic?' every 5 minutes, Yet guest never usually pronounce 'Fantasmic'
correctly, but instead butcher the name and come with something completely different. Here are some of the many names I've heard guest call Fantasmic!':

Guest: Excuse me, what time is ________ ?

- Fantasia
- Fantastic
- Fantasm
- Fantasmo
- Fantasma
- Fantragic
- Orgasmic
- Fantaza
- Asstasmic
- The Lazer Show
- The Water Parade

Any more names to add to the list?

Craptasmic
Shitasmic
Fantragic
(And those are the 3 WE use *LOL)

Fantasia (that is the number 1 name used amongst the guests)
The Fireworks Show with Mickey
The Laser and Fireworks Show
The Mickey Show
Beauty and the Beast (it's a common misconception because TOTS and HHA are next to each other, however, you've got a mile long trek to get to HHA, meanwhile, you see TOTS from the F! marquee/HHA entrance, so many guests mistake HHA/F! for BatB)
The Water Show
The Night Show
The Last Thing of the Day
The Show-That-I'm-Told-I-Need-To-See-To-Believe-But-Hard-To-Get-Into

Oh my kinda thread!

Ok, as ive had to correct guests about it, it is not the jungle cruise. or illuminaria , or even fantalusion. The Light show, or my favorite, the electricial parade, or the pushy cm's who always yell <sorry thats rude, lets cal it projecting voices> keep moving when im trying to watch the show while standing in front of the rope show. Its the Fanatic show! Oh i mean my show! :D:

The first year or two, people weren't quite clear on the subject, so we had a lot of confused guests looking for "The Fantasia Ride...," and smart-ass G.C. lead Steve F. used to play it up by announcing there would be "two rides tonight."

All my friends call it the fireworks show.

I suppose the legitamite fireworks show is "fireworks, part deux"

Legend: Alligators dwell in the sewers beneath Disneyland.

Truth: There are no sewers below Disneyland, and therefore no alligators in them. The secret tunnels are infested with mutant rats, however.
