Good luck with that. Having never been to DL, I'm not sure entirely what you did before, but from the drawing, it looks very similar to what crowd control people at the MK try to do after the night parade. Sometimes it works very well, other times it just irritates guests ("but I don't want to go around the hub, I want to walk out main street RIGHT NOW, and I'll run you over with my stroller if you don't let me!")

This is definatly to brilliant for most guests to even attempt to follow although this is the way many intersections work.
There's no place like 127.0.0.1

Re: Circular Flow 2.0
*Note: all blacked out areas are viewing area for the fireworks and the arrows is the flow of guest traffic. It didn't used to be like this. Basically, the Hub was a viewing area all the way down main street!! Walkways were on the side of mainstreet and along the sidewalks. Adventureland was exit only and Frontierland was entrance only!! O k, here they have to go to exit the park, if they were in Frontierland, they would be directed down Big Thunder Mountain Train, through Fantasyland, around the Matterhorn, exit out of Tomorrowland, across the Hub, and right back into Frontierland, not knowing they can go straight to Pirates, take a left, exit Adventureland, take a right and exit right down on Main Street!! By then, they are really pissed, "You made me walk in circles, blah, blah, blah!!!"hhsrat wrote:Good luck with that. Now, it is easier, they have to walk around the Hub to get where ever they are going: Tomorrowland, Fantastyland, Frontierland, Adventureland, New Orleans Square, or even Critter Country.

Re: Circular Flow 2.0
This would work great if a majority of guests could see the plan before they enter the park, just so they can plan out the quickest way to get to restrooms, churrostands, etc. beforehand.
Re: Circular Flow 2.0
I think inclosed with the map should be a little map with the firework and fantasmic traffic flow. Will they look at it? Probably not but at least we can say "It's in the map"

These are the rafts TO the island. Not AROUND, not OVER, not UNDER and not THROUGH. Thank you for riding T. Saywer's shuttle service please visit again.

Yeah, that is a good idea, I love it!! A map within a map of all the nearest churro, soda, coffe, ice cream, turkey legs, pretzels, etc..... Also it would have two circular flow maps: one for Pyro and another one for Fantasmic!

Re: Circular Flow 2.0
I like it.
I came as a guest the last 2 weekends and I hate the fact that the last few weeks you made in front of the castle a walkway. It was better when you used the parade walkway as a walkway (from Plaza Pavilion across to Plaza Inn).
Did you get your idea from European Vacation? It reminds me of that when Chevy Chase was driving in the traffic circle and couldn't exit.
I see one flaw though with your idea. The guests will have the same problem as Chevy Chase and won't be able to exit and the hub will get way to crowded.
This idea might work better:
If you are coming from Adventure/Frontier, you have to turn right and use the parade walkway to get across to Tomorrowland or Fantasyland or keep walking straight to exit Main Street.
If you are coming from Fantasyland or Tomorrowland you have to use the top part of the hub to get across to Adventure/Frontier or exit Main Street.
The traffic from Adventure/Frontier is moving in a downward direction and the traffic from Fantasyland and Tomorrowland is also moving in a basically downward direction.
If you are coming from Main Street, you have to use the right side of the street and go towards Tomorrowland. If you want to go to Adventure/Frontier, use the top of the hub like everyone else coming from Tomorrowland/Fantasy going the same way.
