Don't Wanna Go
Ugh, I just had two days off and it was not nearly enough. I need a week to recover psychologically from the summer, but I gotta go to Mark Twain today.
Will it ever end?

Tell me about it! I just came back from twenty-nine days off and I *still* can't believe what the place and guests are like! Stepped right into a fat puddle of stupid the first shift back. <sigh> Maybe next month will be better, ya think?

Re: Don't Wanna Go
I guess I'm going to have to burn my vacation hours... But I was really hoping to get some time off next week because it's between quarters for me at school. Who knows, maybe someone will call last minute and say they want my hours...
Re: Don't Wanna Go
I feel your pain Polar. I was working 35+ hours a week, a six day and going to summer school 16 hours a week. Yeah PirateJohn same thing here, 2 days off and back to the Mansion. I MISS THE PARADE ROUTE.

These are the rafts TO the island. Not AROUND, not OVER, not UNDER and not THROUGH. Thank you for riding T. Saywer's shuttle service please visit again.

I wish I was getting 50 hours a week right now ... most FTers in my area are at about 35 this week.

Well, I got some great news to go with this! I just got a call right now and I made it through the Animation Academy audition! I start training on Wednesday.
I now have to go to an Innoventions audition and if I make it through that, then I will transfer from New Orleans to Innoventions and become an Animation Academy host!

Re: Don't Wanna Go
It's official! I made it through the Innoventions audition this morning so I'll be starting Monday. Technically, though, I already started as we've had two days of training this week. And even though it was called training, we were really spending much of the time creating the show. It was really exciting being part of the creative process.
The audition was actually very easy, as they already knew we were there from Animation Academy, so they had us go first and do a very short audition. None of us were rejected in the end.
Oh, and if you see the show, you'll notice a wadded up piece of paper wedged in a basketball hoop (provided custodial hasn't cleaned up our intentional mess). The paper is the drawing of Goofy I made during my first rehearsal. I thought it would look cool to put a paper wad in the basketball hoop. :D:
