SGOTW Nomination
My nomination for the stupid guest of the week:
Somebody today jumped off the top deck of the Mark Twain and into the Rivers of America, swam to the island, and met with a friend who had dry clothes waiting for him. First of all, he's lucky he didn't break his neck on the bottom of the river or on the Fantasmic equipment that's only a couple of feet below the surface.
Unfortunately for him and his friend, security busted the both of them very quickly. They were escorted off property by security and questioned by Anaheim PD. Probably didn't press any charges but they did discover they are both Marines out of Pendleton. So Disney is going to call their CO.
I'd imagine getting kicked out of the park is not the worst thing that's going to happen to these two boys once their CO finds out.

Wow, that is really dumb. The guy is lucky he didn't break a few bones like you said. The river is only a few feet deep. My mom always taught me not to jump into a pool of water if I didn't know how deep it was. Maybe his mom forgot to teach him this very important lesson.

I got a good one, too!
Guest goes into the GAC entry (exit corridor) at Space with a wheelchair.
CM was further out the exit, so this is where it got tough for them.
To the left, a nice easy downhill ramp. To the right, a steep staircase with
lots of people coming up and out.
Can you guess which way the guests chose to go?
I absolutely give up. I'm moving to the Antarctic where it's sane.

If you ever stop and ask yourself: "How do they dress themselves?"
Congratulations and welcome to my world.

was there a long line to go on the rafts towards the island? It would not surprise me if the guy just wanted to swim across for the attention.PirateJohn wrote:My nomination for the stupid guest of the week:

They still come to Plaza Pavilion to renew their AP as well! LOL. They also come to Plaza Pavilion and head to our stockroom and actually open the door looking for the open restaurant.shorty1219 wrote:I'm a Lead in TL Stores...SG's are everywhere...they still come to Space Image looking to renew their AP.
The door is CLOSED for a reason!!! When did Disneyland start having places with closed doors for guests to go? LOL

Re: SGOTW Nomination
The SGT of the week has to be one that tied a wheelchair to rear of an ECV. I guess it was to transport another guest, like a piggy back, kinda. When my Lead and the rest of the stroller staff (we were all curious) went to Tony's Town Square we just shook our heads. I dont know what happened after that, but my lead turned the ECV switch to OFF and TOW so the guest would stay put.

I miss the days when you could just casually switch off an ECV with your foot. The OC Fair rents the same model ECVs as our old ones and I was very tempted to switch one or two off when we went this year.
