How long must a part time cast member wait before transfering to another job?

If i remember correctly it's either a year or six months. But I'm not positive.

Anyone know the reason behind this rule?

not sure of the official reason, but from a logistical point of view they 'd want to get something back from the money they put into training you.

It's six months at WDW too.

Just remember that it's six months without an attendance infraction or verbal reprimand. Screw up and you start counting over.

I actually haven't started training yet. I am starting training on Sunday and would like to be placed at a different area of the park if possible. I called my coordinator of training to ask if there was anything I can do.

I thought it was no attendance reprimands, not individual infractions. I know people that have called in once or twice and still transferred, even though the infraction was within the past 6 months.

You're probably correct about that. I've never really studied the issue carefully as I hired into the role I had hoped to work my way up to, and have never transferred or tried to. :)

I've just recommended that some specific *other* Conductors transfer. Some of you know who I mean.

Six months? It's only 3 months for me.

Guest: "How fast does this go?"
Me: "88 mph"

Guest: "Which row is the least wet?"
Me: "Row 6." (There are only 5 rows in the boat)
