Disney High

Post by VICisGOOFY » Tue Jul 26, 2005 11:40 am

Welcome to Disney High

Characters/Parade
Cheerleaders/Football players. They work about 2 hours a day and walk around doing whatever the fuck they want the rest of the time.

Attractions
The popular kids. Everyone knows them and sadly wants to be like them or at least transfer to their area.

Stores
We're cool, but non-chalantly cool. Everyone knows us, but we don't brag about our popularity.

Outdoor Vending
The rebel kids. They're always out of class/outside in their cool sunglasses and hats.

Custodial
The loser kids. You say hi to them in class but never acknowledge their existence in the halls or backstage. Although some of them are super hot.

Guest Services
Fucking snobs.

Night Custodial
They're just plain creepy.

I agree with Ho-say, our hotel Guest Services people have never been snobs to me. But the park Guest Relations people, well they're another story.

Now where would security fit in this picture?

What's really fun with the Park GS is when they come into the back door of the attraction with a group who is not supposed to get back door access. There is a very specific green card that the Guest Service folks have with them if they have a VIP group or any other paid tour with back door access.

Just the other day, however, one CM came up with a group, and when I asked to see his pass, he said, "oh, my manager told me if the line is over 20 minutes to go through the back door."

I called my lead who told me to do what I saw fit, so I decided to let them in. Mainly just didn't want the hassle.
