"My kid's into bondage"

Post by LiveWire » Tue Jul 12, 2005 3:44 am

Over at jungle there was this family and their little boy had something around his neck. Turns out they were toy handcuffs. Why they were around his neck I guess we'll never know. So the skipper asks what was around the kids neck and the mom was like oh they're pirate handcuffs. The skipper was like ooooh. Then the mom says "Yeah my son's into bondage". This was a kid obviously too young to know what bondage was. Though it makes you wonder what the parents do behind closed doors.

Anyone else had any great off color statements from parents about their own kids?

Well, it wasn't exactly off-color, but I have a feeling the parents were worried. When I was still in merch., this family came in to get another pair of Mouse Ears for their little boy. His first pair had blown off when he poked his head out the monorail window - he was cute while he stammered his explanation to me of exactly what happened .

Dad got into an arguement with the little guy about what kind of ears he was going to get. He wanted the Minnie ears with the bow and flower - not the plain old Mickey ears.

Mom looked at me, and in a very quiet voice she smiled while she said, "we're having problems. His favorite color is p-i-n-k. His favorite toys are his baby doll with the stroller - he loves to push them around the neighborhood."

Dad finally talks him into a pair of blue ears instead of the red ones with the bow and flowers, and he tells me his name was Christopher so I could sew it on the ears. I had a feeling Christopher was going to get beaten up in school when he got a little older...

That's a funny story, are you the one that posted it on myspace, or did you just steal it and put it here. Either way, Good job skip! Real men do in fact wear pink, WDI nailed that with the big thunder costume. Christopher is either banging girls like crazy now, because they all succumed to his higthened sense of what it is to be a girl, and they do no have to fake it with him, or he's Banging guys like crazy, because he really did turn out to be gay. ( i hope nobody is offended by that) (what am i saying we're all CM's past and present, we know the truths of the universe.) (just in case anyone is offedned though, let me know an i'll edit/delete it)

P.S. I want shackles!

No it didn't happen to me. My friend told me what happened and it was so funny (Im terrible at retelling stories so it was funnier firsthand) that I asked if I could post it here.

I can so see that kid talking to his therapist in a couple of years....my mommy wears black leather on the weekends and beats up daddy!

Nope, didn't steal it, I swear to God I can still picture him and hear his little voice stammering how they were riding the monorail "an...an...an..I wanned to look...so I looked...an...an...an..the wind...it blew..an...an...an..I made my face...go...an..I looked...and I was outside...and my ears blew...they blew...they blew off my head...an...they flew away!"

I know I've told people I worked with about it. He was so cute, he really made my day - hell, made my week. That's not something you experienced every day in the Mad Hatter. It's been over 20 years now, so little Christopher is now most likely big Chris, hangin' in Boys Town...
