So the other day, a Southern man came up to me in the store with a light-up bouncy ball thing.
Southern Guy: Excuse me sir, how do I make this ball light up?
Me: Well you just bounce it on the floor and it lights up on impact.
Southern Guy: *bounces the ball* Wow! So how does that work, is it like a chemical reaction or something?
o_O
Me: Yep! Isn't technology amazing?

There is a fine line between friendly, entertaining guest service and being a total asshole. I am that fine line.

Did your high IQ guest wear a red/gray/white checkered shirt with jeans & tell you he was from AaaaaLaBama? I had a guest @ Show Case who sounds like your Southern guest. He was a piece of work from BahmaSamuraiKoala32 wrote:So the other day, a Southern man came up to me in the store with a light-up bouncy ball thing.

A TL CM told the story of how he was walking from lunch back to parades with a group of CMs from TL when a guest came up to him and asked if he worked here, he replied, "No, we are here for a Taco Bell Convention." Then, the guest just walked away and bought it, lol!!

Better than the kid that went around taking out the light wands (the only cheap lights that don't turn off by themselves), turning all of them on, and putting them back on the fixture. Oh wait, that's like every kid.
