Question:Disney's Electrical Parade Going Away????

I've just heard a rumor about Disney's Electrical Parade going away from a know-it-all source and I am a bit curious about this. If DEP goes away, DCA's crowds would diminish and Disneyland would be crammed. I hope this is just a rumor and not fact as I am a fan of the parade since it was at Disneyland.

Anyone who works at Disneyland Resort Entertainment and knows the status of Electrical Parade, please repsond by posting or contact me directly about this! Thank you.

I'm in stores, but from what I've heard from my leads is that the Electrical Parade is indeed leaving. Disneyland's new one is supposed to span the entirety of the 50th celebration, meaning that come Christmas time, DCA will get the Christmas Parade, in addition to keeping Block Party Bash, but the Electrical Parade will be going to Hong Kong to help open the park there.

This is my understanding also. Subject is still rather hushed but our beloved EP is Hong Kong bound. We knew EP woudn't last :( Stores seems to hear much first. ]

I miss the parking lot....and the little Trams (yes the back stage tram is the old parking lot trams but I degress). I was thinking of things we have that no one else has (either copy or given). The Matterhorn, Roger Rabbit's Cartoon Spin, Columbia. I am sure there are more as well as various good parades that never went other places.

From what I heard, Parade of the Stars is supposed to be going to open Hong Kong. I really hope they aren't taking the Electrical Parade too. (good riddance to POTS though)

My brother has 3 of these old trams on his ranch. One is Parade Support tram. I'm afraid to ask him how he got 3 ]
