Former CM, current APer here. Don't let the few (many) jerks who are APers taint your opinion of all the pass holders. Judge each of us as individuals. But I can't get the 2 finger point out of my system

The only way people know me is at places i frequent, Justin at splash, most of 2nd and 1st shift at critter country, the rancho del zocalo cast, and some fantasmic! gc leads, stay away from Gina! Jason is sometimes nice. but they know me souley on the times i have complimented them or rode their attraction soo many times in a week that they remember me. Oh and i still 2 finger point and answer any guest questions, watching set-up for Fantasmic, about 15 times, what is this, when is it playing, is this a good spot? never been mean to any cast or guest, and i guess it shows because everyone puts on a genuine smile when i come around. Boo bad APs, revoke their passes.

Ditto! I feel bad for the CM's for dealing with those jerks. :(

We can't be talking the same person. That's one of my favorite leads.

I agree. Gina is one of my Pirate leads, too, and we get along quite well. She's tough, but fair, and a very sweet person overall.

I remember one time at Pirates the white board was spattered with caricatures she had drawn of the cast. I wasn't represented, unfortunately, since I was still relatively new at the time and didn't have a reputation yet. But some of the ones she drew were hilarious -- she even put quotes above each one.

BirdMom wrote:The thought of getting passes still makes me nervous - you don't want your former friend, along with people you don't know - to hate you for having a stupid piece of plastic in your wallet, but considering how badly behaved a significant percentage of the AP's are, it's a wonder all AP's at all parks aren't tarred with the same brush!
Theres nothing wrong with the AP's that carry that piece of plastic in their wallet. The ones that usually cause the problems have it around their necks or in their hands! I cant tell you how many times I've seen them drive through a parking lot or get on a tram with that pass in hand just waiting for someone to say something. I've had a lot of great experiences with passholders and if they were all bad we would've all gone crazy by now!

:D: PrincessY, I am with you all the way as I as an AP before I started working at DL for 6.5 years and I will be an AP in spirit for life.

Scary, isn't it, lol? :p:
