The guests are getting so fucking rude lately!

Has anyone else noticed that the guests are getting really rude lately? Especially the last week or so. Not only that, the PASSHOLES are really being PASSHOLES. They are getting rude, pushy and demanding.

HELL YA I hate the passholders so much i got yeld at today for 10 min. because a passholder wanted to know wher she could get the id holder i have. I told her thay dount sell them to guest but she was like that is bull shit i now thay dont jest sell things to you stuped cast members that would be so stupid. i sad we have a store that you have to be a cast member to go to and thats where i got it. she got all mad and wanted to see a manager and called me stuped and sad i was making things up and that she never heard of stupid shit like that.I sad it is called the team center and went to get a lead. she told the lead that i called her an ass hole and that she could go to hell. I got writen up. all because thay dont sell the nice id holders to the guests.

I'd fight that with the union and try to get it removed from your record because that is bullshit. You shouldn't take the blame for a stupid passhole especially when it wasn't your fault.

A passholder once insulted me and called me all sorts of names in Spanish because she thought I was stiffing her on her Merch. discount. Now I work in MK, they don't have a discount in the park. Boy was she ever surprise when she finally came up to my register and in perfect, clear Spanish I asked her how I could help.

The worse tho was the 13 year old boy that said I was wasteful and that if I wasn't smart enough to do my job I shouldn't be doing it, all because the register wasn't working. Because I didn't know how to fix it (and I'm not even supposed to fix it), I'm a moron I guess.

This same question has been a problem to me until last week. Guests (IDIOTS!!) can't buy our ID holders in the parks but the same item(s) are available @ Staples, Office Max & other large business supply stores. A DLR Pin Trader bailed me out on this one. But...the guests want our ID holders asap so the above is not a solve all. Go to your union at once. DL is letting the guest get away with way too much lately :twisted:

A guest began yelling @ me the other day because she didn't qualify for a discount & she didn't like her change. Not my fault $13.53 change didn't meet her wants. She called me "A stupid white lady." Told me my Spanish wasn't good because I had no accent. NO KIDDING?? Like we all must have accents She then yelled "Get me that Mexican over there." I was totally lost as I often don't see ethnicity in CMs. They are friends not stats. I called the CM she was pointing to over & even she had trouble with "Mrs. Chola." We finally called a Lead but the guest got wise & fled before help arrived. APB or whatever DLR calls it was then put out because we realized the woman was trying to cheat store after store. But hey, at least the guest called me a lady as she raved on ;)

I have nothing against passholders, many of the ones I've met are really great to talk to. I think its mostly those are new passholders that see the words "Merchandise Discount" and don't pay attention after that.

A guest once basically blew me off because she had a Disney Store gift card and couldn't use it in the park. When I tired to explain that it could only be used a the Disney Stores at the mall she said "That's impossible this is a Disney store" refering to the Philharmagic giftshop we were at.

I think that as the crowds get worse and the temperature rises, people just get more and more crabby. Almost all of my AP troubles and normal guest troubles have happened during the peak seasons. When I was in foods at River Belle where they don't give the AP discount, I counted on getting chewed out at least twice a night for the lack of an AP discount.

They'd always say "HOW am I supposed to know which places give an annual pass discount?! This is ridiculous. Last time I came, I got one."

ANd I'd say "Ma'am, when your purchased your annual pass, you received a pamphlet listing ALL your benefits and ALL the locations which give you discounts. This restaurant is NOT listed and hasn't been listed for a couple years."

"Well why did I get one the last time I came?! I got the gumbo!"

"That was the French Market. We don't serve gumbo."

THAT was always my favorite! Confused APs who got beef stew at the FM and then came to RBT a week later to try to get the same.

"I got it last week. I came here all the time."
"The French Market serves beef stew. Ours is 100% vegetable."
"Well, it should say that on the menu."
"It does. Mississippi Vegetable Stew."

I think we can expect this summer to be one of the worst yet. But just remember to keep your cool because it's not worth stressing out over.
