I think I have only seen my manager sitting in his office...once (And that was for my meeting). Once at tower at Mansion (he had bumped someone out so they could talk to the lead). So a total of twice. Attractions managers are more out and about then anything.

During my time at PGA, the Rides Supervisors were told they could only be in the office if they were handling paperwork and since Park Ops. is air-conditioned and disiplinary actions generate the most paperwork.....I think you get the idea.

I'm pretty sure our managers use a combination of FLIK cards and knowing where the line is backed up to to make the determination on what to post as our wait time.

As far as HYS posts ... I was asked if we had animals in the park. No, we just call it "Disney's Animal Kingdom" because we thought it sounded cool.

Overheard on KS..."Are those real animals?" Nope, they're animatronics that have been rain-proofed.

A little off the subject, overheard at Busch Gardens...
