Been said, doing it again...

For those of you who don't know me, I recently transfered over to Main St. stores and we wear early 1900-style costumes, you could mistake us for muffin sellers. Ahywho, here's my story:

I'm folding shirts, (not just looking over one and putting it back, no I'm folding A LOT of shrits,) and some lady comes over to me, taps me on the sholder, checks me out, sees my name tag and asks me "Do you work here?"

...No lady, you can buy these hideous outfits at Clothiers and you can get the name tags at Guide I.

"I have a stupid question for you."

"Can I have a map?"

"Where is the restroom?"

"Do you work here?"

:D: :D: This is FUNNY! Wondered where you went DLSweeper. Glad to hear you are one of us now  Guess I'm strange because I like my gray skirt, blue & white puffy blouse, but that wine & blk bow gives me headaches. Costuming shudders each time I'm on Main Street. I beg for bow help. ]

"You work here? You must be SO rich!"

at least it's not coke corner, we call that the cand stripper costume. it's an inside thing, but we all love to hate it. i like wearing the tiki costume on main street (when i'm on main street i'm parades usually) people aren't ever sure what it is that's telling them to stay to the right, so the stay to the righ so as not to incur it's rath or anything.

PS anytime you want OT off a morning shift, see if parades is offering it, there have been days when they pulled kids directly from soarin' to mainstreet and plaza/hub parade GC, not even a costume change. Fantasmic runs it here and there too.
