I think its great the way the guests flip out when they see little rodents. Or that birds are doing their business. I know I posted this somewhere but at Gatekeeper at Mansion (during a time when we had fastpass for non holiday) this disgruntled lady walks up to me and says "You really need to do something about the birds! They are pooping on everyone and thing!"
Me: (while trying not to laugh cause this lady is nuts) I am sorry ma'am
Her: It's disgusting! People have their maps over their heads! There should be a sign or something!
Me: (Nodding cause I think if I said something I would have burst out laughing)
The best was....
I was back in the switchbacks closing queue.
Guest: Oh my god there's a giant rat!
Me: -looked where the guest was pointing saw the "rat" and looked back at the guest- That's not a rat
Guest: What was it?!
Me: An Oppossum

EEEEWWWW! Poor birds. DLR has just hired in another CM with a weird sense of humor. You'll fit right in :D: :D:MEng85 wrote:on alcatraz we have 5 ravens, huge buggers... smart as hell too... know how to get into those trash cans by prying the lids off... well u know where their nest is by the dismembered seagull carcasses and the dismembered wings you find on the floor... i sometimes collect the bones of "various" birds and leave em on the operating table in the hospital......its nesting season now so the whole island smells like fish... quite disgusting actually... :)

It wasn't a rat! just a long tailed frog, nothing more, nothing less! The emporium doesn't even know what a rat is, besides rats do not shoot, they wallow.
Gimme some soft serve!
Re: Frogs with long tails
haha, cats, and trains... yes. ok so here's a cat (he's invisble) playing in the splash tunnel, (also invisible, as will everythign else be.) Here's the train comming along. here's the trainee, "oh no kitty, move!"
here is kitty feet visible from under the train doing things kitty feet do in such situations... here's me shadowing the trainee later on as we pull the last train. "don't look!" "don't use the flashlight...." trains passes kitty, who seems to be intact, until we see the side that can't be seen whilst approaching the kitty. this is me "oh yeah, he's dead."
needless to say she (the trainee) was only mildly saddened, however, all the cat had to do was be sensible and run from the big thing, and it would be free to roam around the park. Poor thing was probably to young to know any better.
