Dumbest Guest

Post by goose » Sun Aug 03, 2003 12:27 am

First off, I'm new here :) I hope more and more people find this site. I've been at DL for 2.5 years and I work in vending. It says that I'm a CT but I'm really a Part Timer. I won't reveal too much more just in case there is truth to the rumor that cm's have been disciplined for frequenting this site.

Here's my contribution:

The dumbest guest I ever had came up to me while I was working on a cart on mainstreet. I think I was on a glow cart. I don't remember.

Guest :( Pointing to the street we were standing on.) Ma'm, are we allowed to sit here during the parade?

Me: No, the parade comes right through here-

Guest: But can we sit here?

Me: No.

Yes, the first question was stupid. But I politely told him he couldn't sit in the middle of the street. But the fact that he couldn't understand my response baffled me. Maybe he didn't hear me or understand my first "no." For this reason I slowly and emphatically repeated to him. "No."

Welcome to stupidguesttricks, Goose. Don't worry your rank will go up as you post more. Unlike working at the park where you don't get promoted for two years. Thanks for the story.

You've got that right about remaining anonymous if you still work at the Park. I mean, you're fine as long as you don't say anything they consider "negative," but if you give too many clues as to who you are, I'm sure they'd try to discipline you in some manner.

I don't work there anymore, so I speak my mind (unless it's something they can sue me for).

Right now, as far as I know, only Guest Relations has threatened cast members at all with respect to this site. I think you're probably okay revealing your department, since just about everyone else here does and there's been no real problem so far.

I don't think we had that in 2001 when I started, either.

As of this writing no one has notified us (stupidguesttricks.com) that they have been reprimanded for visiting this site. As with all internet communications keep your identity a secret and you should be fine.

FIGHT THE SYSTEM!!!
