The Magic never really died for me, just kinda went into hibernation... the first time back after the first time I quit (actually the day I went to turn in my stuff I signed myself and some friends in, got a handstamp and went back in after clearing customs) was probably one of the most magical times I'd ever been.

I missed going last weekend, but hopefully soon I'll go back in to see if it's still there.

I don't know...I guess I just know how to turn it on and off.

It doesn't bother me that when I sit backstage eating my breaktime ice cream sandwich I see princess walking by without their usual gait and poise, but rather like real people with schedules to keep. It doesn't bother me that a dude is walking around the commisary in his undercostume leotard and underthings while wearing Goofy's shoes.

It's like the "Cast Members Only" sign marks a boundary. I'm two different people when I'm on and when I'm on break. If you want to get technical, I'm at least 3 different people, if you include when I pop in as a guest.

It's all a state of mind, really.

And for a moment or two, it felt like I lost the magic being backstage seeing "off" characters, but then you gotta realize, YOU make your own magic now, for other people.

(...wow, lame.)

I think it died last night for me when I had to get carted off to the ER for exhaustion after doing Fantasmic entrances... When CFA took my blood pressure, it was 180/120.

Yes, much.

My manager came with me to the hospital to keep me company, and told me to take the next day off. I slept a good portion of the day, and skipped class Monday (which is okay since it's an elective class anyway and I got the highest grade in the class on the midterm). I went to work for a six-hour shift Monday night and it went well, especially since, being a Monday, it was fairly slow.

Which Manager was that? I suspect Mark.
