There's a great .mp3 file floating around of a police department's dream voice mail. My favorite parts:
"To whine about us not solving a problem that you created, press 1. ...
If you'd like us to raise your children, press 4. ...
If you'd like us to instantly restore order to a situation that took years to deteriorate, press 6. ...
To sue us or tell us you pay our salary and you'll have our badge, or to proclaim our career is over, press 8. "
and finally...
"Remember, we're here to save your butts, not kiss them!" :)

I am just a guest. And now I'm on a quest. I have two trips planned this year - one to DL and one to WDW. I'm going to see if I can get myself posted on this board and earn myself a sign.
This should be fun!!! :D:

I'm not exactly sure who gets the sign in this story, us or the cast member. I wonder if the poor guy just was at a loss.
Several years ago, my now-ex and I were at The Living Seas over in EPCOT and we were marveling at the shark. Somehow though, we couldn't find the sign that stated what species of shark it was. He proclaimed with full certainity that it was Great White. I told him it was far too small and would require far too much feeding in order to keep from eating everything else. I stated it looked like a nurse shark to me. We argued about this for a few minutes before deciding, "Fine! We'll just ask."
We corralled the nearest CM and I asked, "We're having a disagreement, is the shark here a Great White or a nurse shark."
"...It's a great white nurse shark."
I blinked, thanked him, and walked away.
We found the sign about two minutes later that stated very clearly that it was a brown shark.
I do have to complain about this thread.
It's six months old and only 13 pages! You should have something that rivals Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix!!! Yeesh! How are us former CS workers supposed to live vicariously through your responses?

Re: Here's Your Sign: The Disney Saga
I found this site yesterday and started reading this thread and have done nothing but laugh. It did tick me off when Disneylover got a nasty, but as everyone else said, it is a place for CM's to vent.
I can relate to the "Here's Your Sign".
Just wanted to say thanks for the laugh and keep up the good work. I know you all have a difficult time sometimes and idiots just make it that much more difficult.
I have been going to WDW regularly since 95 and was a regular at DL until we moved to FL.
My hat is off to all CM's and their ability to keep it in control. :D:
