Getting hours/Full Time
Two questions. Firstly, how hard is it to get serious hours as a starting CR-25? And given a highly dedicated employee, how long til full time? How much do things like doing your job above and beyond come into play? Or is it all very rigidly installed time oriented seniority?

Re: Getting hours/Full Time
For CR-25, it's not that hard as long as you call scheduling. You probably won't get scheduled enough hours at first, but if you call scheduling every day and try and pick up a shift, or get a longer shift, it's easy. Basically you just have to be willing to work at pretty much any time, at least at first.
For RPT and RFT (regular part time and regular full time) you pretty much have to fill out an application and they'll call you when they have an opening. IT still takes several years (maybe someone else can give more specifics, I never applied, I'm happy with CR-25) but I know that you need to fill one out now cause they go through them in the order received, not by seniority.
