Since the Cedar Fair take over new rides have gone up but at a terrible price. A park once intended for everyone is now focused on one age group. All of those rides are all well and good, except when they breakdown every frikin day!

Haunt has lost it's magic, it's not scary anymore, because the Haunt hires don't have the talent that existed a decade ago.

Service has gone down because we hire any loser off the street, tell them a bunch of rules and then don't enforce anything.

The chicken is no longer what it once was, since Cedar Fair took over CDR, the quality has plumeted.

The first golden age at Knott's ended when the family sold out. The second will begin when Cedar Fair sells out. SO........

If anybody has a couple hundred million dolars, make an offer. :D

Haunt has lost it's magic, it's not scary anymore, because the Haunt hires don't have the talent that existed a decade ago.

I still think Haunt is doing pretty good, while not as scary, I don't think it's lost its magic. I'd blame the media and current events for the toning down of Haunt, not Cedar Fair.

Well, they didn't hire me, and I'm not a loser. (or at least I don't think so...) Though some people are slackers, there still are hard workers in the departments.

Just my opinion though, don't maul me..please.

Knott's does have hiring standards. Most of the time. And for high risk departments such as Rides and Security. Not everyone gets in.

I have to mostly agree with SnoppyBeagle on this, i was at K's for a year and the only thing i miss about it is my Log Ride crew, and two people from Bigfoot Rapids, every thing else i dont miss it's a second rate park with second rate management and second rate guests, i dont miss the Haunt it's the worst thing ever, not the event itself but the people that attend it, i know a few people that almost got into fights with Haunt guests and even one that had a knife put on him, i am so happy that i'm out of that place and i've moved on to bigger and better things. there are so many people there that deserve to move up they have earned their stripes but are overlooked because its based on favoratism (spell check). it'd be cool if disney would've bought that place instead of cedar fair, but maybe they would've torn it down, who knows, as for the rides i seriously caution everyone that goes to K's because when they do their rehabs all they do is paint or patch over the f-ups once again second rate park.
