Gee if only there were something....
So I was a turnstile greeter the other night and I'm just standing there answering the same old questions...trying to explain to some guest why we don't have fastpass and I look over my left shoulder and see about 20 people following a wheelchair group up the wheelchair ramp. So I hold back the line as I'm putting the dumb guests back in through the turnstile. The lady at the end of the group starts talking to me saying how there should be a chain or rope up so people know that's not the right way to go. So off I go explaining to her that there is no chain so that special assistance groups may go up the ramp themselves seeing as the one castmember can't always see them coming. So she continues to go off on how there should be a sign or something then. So I told her, "There is a sign Ma'am, it's about this big and in the shape of a shield. It has the universal handicapped symbol on it and a arrow pointing towards the ramp." She then snapped at me saying well then where is it....all of a sudden a small child(about 4) standing behind me, pipes up and says it's right there pointing at it. I couldn't help but smile and hold back my laughter, oh the lady got so mad at me. Needless to say look around before you open your mouth. :p:

Ah, I love instant justice like that. That was a well-earned humiliation on her part.

I love it when I ask the adults how old their kids are, they
almost always say "seven". When I ask the same families kids, they say "six"
and it's all I can do to keep from cracking up.
Then the parents try to recover by saying to the kid, "no your not six, dammit."

If you ever stop and ask yourself: "How do they dress themselves?"
Congratulations and welcome to my world.

I had this problem at dumbo. Two six year olds came in the line and I told them they needed to find a parent to ride with them. They were very nice and said okay. I go to collect feathers and there they are sitting together without an adult. I said hey guys where is your parent. 'He won't go with us He said NO' and suddenly someone is yelling behind my back.
I turn around and see a man who is obviously angry and he's yelling something at me. He yells 'why can't they go alone' I said that they are both only 6 years old and additionally are under the hight limit to go alone. He yells to me that they are 7 and I told him that that is untrue since they both told me their ages are six. He continued to get angry and eventually told me to 'FUCK OFF' I simply walked away and called security. While calling he knocks on the control room door and continues to yell at me while I'm calling for help. What an adventure that was.

the same thing they do to every guest who tells a cast member to 'fuck off' for insuring the safety and security of his children.
'now don't do that again' *shakes finger* 'or else mickey will get mad at you' and then they give them something free

Please tell me you're joking... I thought when a guest behaves like that security swooped down like hawks :ninja: and "escorted" the deviant guest out of the park on the their ass.wazowski wrote:the same thing they do to every guest who tells a cast member to 'fuck off' for insuring the safety and security of his children.

What happened to that SS like Disney security we used to hear so much about? Please tell me they didn't replace them with Mickey's ToonTown cops...

Nope, Wazowski is NOT JOKING!! His statements are sad but true. Some ill behaved, "deviant" guests are escorted out of the parks, but this does not happen often enough or with any organized logic. SS like security @ Disney? Oh, you mean the dress up security cops. Ya, they are REALLY there for our needs & protection. Might as well be Mickey's ToonTown cops. No dif in abilities. On this, I speak from experience :(RebuildtheKingdom wrote:Please tell me you're joking...
