"Smile," said an unnamed CP greeter :D: , "You're at Walt Disney World now. It's okay!"

And you know what? It was. In that moment, I realized that resigning from that college was the right thing to do, even if it meant moving back to Tenn. and my job at the Holiday Inn. I saw that my misery was of my own making. I realized that I didn't have to be grumpy, that I could hug Grumpy instead!

Great story Zazu! Glad to see that Disney had that kind of an impact on you and your life!

Zazu added it special

"A little swordplay, now and then, keeps my mind off sheep!"

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

Damn skippy! When I've got something to say, I don't let the lack of a smilie slow me down. I've already added 268 new smilies and I'm not done yet.

Here's one I think you'll *really* like: :hitfan: It's what happened to me at the MK today.

Whoa. So you leave a teaching job (Even if it is College, but hey, I taught High school, so go through what I did, then we'll chat) and come to Disney, The biggest "We'll screw you every chance we get" job in the world (at least to me at times).

Course I had the totally opposite situation in that with Lights! Motors! Action! getting ready to open, a few of the managers were seriously helping me get over to the show since it was like the only thing I talked about for like four months straight. Well one day the bastards pull a safety reprimand on me for something that wasn't even my fault. That shot my chance of going to hell (Hence my comment from before).

This really pissed me off. And I mean it REALLY pissed me off, and they realized it to when one of the managers that pulled their stunt off gave me a simple "Hey, how's it going" (And I replied "I have nothing to say to you"). I'm over at merge and when a guest made the comment of "Man, working for Disney must be the greatest thing in the world"

When I replied "Yeah, not so much." I knew that the situation had finally gotten to me. When something followed me from the office onstage, I knew that I had to either get someone to take over for me right then (Which I ended up doing) or just leaving the spot, going to the office and telling them to take my ID and screw off.

*Now to many, it may not seem like a big deal, but considering my history with Disney in that as a child I turned to my grandfather as a child and told him I NEVER wanted to come back to Disney the day we went out to Disney (As APs) and found out 20k had closed, come back Oct 18th, 1998 for opening of Fantasmic!, live, breath and sleep Disney World, hold an AP again until Early 2003 and begin working for Disney, it's a big deal*
