I got hired first application at every park I've applied at except at DL (took me eight or nine tries over the years,) and Universal Studios (I'm still in the process there.)

Took them a month to get back to me but then again they were hiring for DCA and weren't even sure of the positions when I interviewed.

When I first went to apply I wasn't even interviewed. They told me my schedule wouldn't work. Then I went to the job fair a week later and was hired. (Same schedule!)

I walked into the casting building handed them my filled out application. Waited an hour. Interviewed, hired and that saturday I had orientation. (Maybe theme park experience is a good thing)

At Legoland I went to a job fair.

At the "other park", my first job, I went to a job fair, applied, hired on the spot, took a drug test, and came back for more info: where I will be working and company orientation.

About 2 years later, I began to work for the Mouse. It took me three tries. First try, I didn't get it. I am not sure why. Second time, I came back to apply, they said I need more work experience. Lastly, I tried and DIDN'T tell them that I am reapplying and that I reapplied before. Then, I got it!! So, sssssssssssshhhhhhhhhh!! That just stays between you, me, and the millions of posters here.

Update. Got the job at Universal today. As my avatar shows, it looks like I get to be one of Farquar's surly henchmen at Shrek 4D. That makes Disneyland the only park that I never got hired at on my first application.
