It was early one morning. I was in Bazaar with a friend of mine. Since there was no one else in the shop we were "clumping." Anyways she walks in saying her son saw some other kids with these little foam axes, and was wondering where she could find one. We racked our brains for about five minutes trying to figure out where they could be. The entire time she waited patiently, adding little comments here and there. Unfortunately we couldn't think of where it was, and she thanked us and left. About 10 minutes after she left we realized that she was referring to the axes at the Lego Store, but by that point she was already gone.

back when we still had AP's we saw a few people. once anne hathaway was in front of us in line for pirates, this was before princess diaries and her tv show was still on(get real or something like that) she was with her parents and brother. my hubby saw one of the guys from rage against the machine in the bathroom once but the best was when we were in the stretching room in mansion with wilmer valderama(FEZ) and then he was a few cars ahead of us on the ride, when we entered madame leotas room hubby yelled, FEZ rules! he was actually hard to recognize without the big 70's hair and funky clothes. we were trying to figure out who the celeb was(there was a plaid in the room) for awhile.before we mnet, hubby also saw corey feldman once.

I had a literal brush with fame...
It was one day when I was working at Innoventions. We were told that VIP's from Tappi were gonna be by, no biggie. So when I was coming back from my break I was kind of in a rush and I brushed against someone in their 'civvies' and a red hat and escorted by two of our managers. No biggie, its probably those Tappi VIP's . A short while later, my co-cm Jason asked me if I saw Roy Disney; I asked him if he was here! Yes, he was the one wearing the red hat! If I had known it was him I woulda probably fainted. Or shook his hand.
On another note, two days later Eisner came through Innoventions. Thats another story, and since Im still employed at WDW, I prefer not to say.
Also, as a Campus Rep for the WDWCP, I encountered a local celebrity at one of our presentations; Jody Gage! He is like the Wayne Gretzky of our AHL hockey team in Rochester, and it was insane to meet him. His daughter was thinking-and is currently on- about the WDWCP. Awesome times.
Theres another story about Rosie O'Donnell being the most evil person in the world, including a great time at Splash Mountain, but that was a story told by another CM who used to work there. Hilarious though...did anyone else have 'issues' with Rosie?

~Innoventions- its many things, but theres one thing its not, its Na-Ta-Ride!~

Hmm, for all I know, she was a little pissed that she wasn't featured on the Superstar Limo.

Um... whose baby is this? :stork:

I was at the Gate of the Haunted Mansion (when we still had Fastpass) and a VIP tour came through. I gave my usual "How many" and let them through I gave a cheesy "Enjoy your tour" in my best mansion voice. The last person in a baseball cap looked up into my eyes and said "Thank you" it was Gary Sines (aka Lt. Dan from Forest Gump I know I spelled his last name wrong).

At pooh I was second unload as Gina Davis was on the ride. I gave my usual spunky bouncing speil she smiled but didn't say anything. The tour guide thanked me.

Not getting into any big details but:

The Rock (WWE)
Tyson Tomco (WWE)
Gary Seinse (3 times, down here for the Candlelight Procession)
Aerosmith (While a Rock n Roller Coaster, where else?)

Today, The biggest playa in the game, Huge Heffner and a few of his beauties.

Buddie of mine started going ape shit over the girls that were on the ride (Note, he did NOT go on the ride).
Im like "Bra, calm the hell down. Yeah they're good to look at, but thats it. You know damn good and well you can't get near them without dying while trying" (Seriously, I was just like, whatever, so they came through, big deal. I'll just run home where I know someone will be waiting for me, which would be my g/f).

Just waiting for Harrison Ford to come through. Dude, I dont give a damn about Disney's policy. Harrison comes through, I WILL lose my job to meet and talk to him.

Is Tyson as big a heel IRL as he is in character?

I'm flattered... "You like me, you really like me" - sorry, I couldn't resist. Ok, remember you asked for it, so it's not bragging.

Eric Stoltz was hiding out in Tropical Imports for a while, he was wearing a hat and sunglasses, but still recognizable. Again in Imports I had Jeffrey Tambor. This was a year and a half before Arrested Development, so he was just "That Guy From The Larry Sanders Show." I also helped Kurt Fuller in Imports (he was the lackey turned good guy in Wayne's World, among other things). Thaao Penghlis (the guy who plays Tony DiMera on Days of Our Lives, I didn't know his name, but I recognized him) came to Owl Photo before Christmas, but not to my register. That same day Michael Clark Duncan came by while I was on lunch but I did get to see his photo. In another "just missed him" George Lopez grabbed something from Indy while I was in the store, but I had a line so he want to South Seas, where my friend helped him, then proceded to brag about it. He had been jealous that I helped Cindy Crawford.

In my everyday life, I saw Barbara Billingsley. Her grandson went to my elementary school, and she was there when he "graduated" from Kindergarden. I was walking back from recess, she was driving out and waved right at me. For a seven year old, that was huge. I saw Dustin "Screech" Diamond at a McDonald's in Rowland Heights (one town over from where we both live). He was in the drive-thru in a driver's ed car. And this was after his show was over (95 I think). My high school band was in Higher Learning. We had recently done the Fiesta Bowl parade, and John Singleton wanted a "good, large, purple band" - so he sent Stanley Clarke out to listen to us perform our field show, and we were in. Anyways the day we filmed I saw Mr. Singleton (obviously), Omar Epps, Kristy Swanson, and I think Jennifer Connelly. We were supposed to be in the graduation scene but there was a scheduling conflict, so they filmed us on our own stadium field and cut us into the scene.

I have more in and out of Disneyland experiences, but I'll save those for later.

lol :D

Okay, my brushes with fame...

[BRWOMBAT'S THOUGHTS]Let's see... I could tell them I met Walter Koenig (Chekov) and Mark Lenard (Sarek), but then I'd have to admit having attended a Star Trek convention in my youth... At least I might be able tell about that without mentioning I was there in a freakin' homemade Star Trek uniform... Okay, that's out. Oh, yeah, there was that one time in college when I worked tech crew for an alumni production of Godspell, and Jm J Bullock (Monroe from Too Close For Comfort) was in the cast... Wow. Is my life pathetic.[/BRWOMBAT'S THOUGHTS]

Um, none so far. :notallthe
