That Disney guy founder...
That Disney guy founder...
Hey guys. Long time reader of the forums. Just wanted to share some funny experiences I had during my trip just recently:
It was our last full day at Magic Kingdom (jan 2), and we were in front of the Partners statue to get a family photo done. While we were standing there, there was a British family standing next to us. The mother said "oh yes. Let's get a picture of Mickey Mouse and that man who founded Disney." I then turned to her and said in a puzzling and perplexed tone "You mean Walt Disney?" "No, that's not him. That is the founder of the Disney movies and stuff." I decided to end my conversation there since it would have gotten me nowhere to continue.
This trip was the first time that I heard someone complain about the Monorail having doors on both sides. Some gentleman in his 40s was yelling about how having doors on both sides was stupid and (insert explicit word). I don't know what his purpose was, but he was funny to watch.

Hmmm... sounds like Eisner's alleged secret plan to slowly erase Walt's presence in the company is working... :shudders:

It could have been worse.
One time, (years ago), someone swore they replaced a Bugs Bunny and Mel Blanc statue with the one that is there today.

I wonder how much rotational energy we could tap if we tore down the BAH, the Epcot wand, and all of California Adventure?CBeilby wrote:Fortunately, once Eisner's gone, he should slow down to a much more managable 1200 RPM.RebuildtheKingdom wrote:Last time I heard, Walt is up to about 3500 RPM from what all has been going on...Stduck wrote:Walt would be rolling in his grave...
