yeah i just went and checked that right before i tore it up, it was no longer of use to me, and i needed something to tear. so there it was.
I think i'm mad because my Dad just went and bought a super nice Pontiac G6, which is sorta a slap in the face to me and my Grand Am (if you're not current on GM vehicles, the G6 is the Grand Am, only with the re-making of the GTO it was re-named. it's still the same engine that i have only 8 years more advanced. and the sun roof is the coolest thing ever!) so yeah here's this shiny silver G6 sitting in my driveway, where i USED to park, with it's black leather interior and any other thing you can think of, grr, i'm going to have to go and have a remote starter installed in my car too...!

But can I use my comp passes? I can't find an answer on the Portal.
Yes Zazu you can.
Thanks, that's great news.

Is it too soon to start planning a get-together for the week of 15-19 August 2005?

Why, so your dad can't run out and buy a new one, or just so you can spend more on repairs than something made here in America, by hard working people. Everytime you buy a forgien car, you take a hot meal off the dinner table of someone working in America. (adapted from one of the commercials in GTA Vice City.)

and Zazu, it just figures that you're planned week, is the one i think i'm going to be off to my yearly trip to the Sacromento Delta. i also have a trip to mexico planned, but it's during spring break, so i may or may nto be going.

No cause I love my car, and my dad knows if he bough me a new one I'd hurt him (unless it was a new BMW...) Hey just cause the German's make better cars....

Sorry about the timing, but I'm boarding the Disney Magic on Aug. 20 for the trip through the Panama Canal and back to Florida, so the dates really aren't very negotiable. I might get there in time for a meet on the 13th, if I make good time coming west. Giving a talk at Walt's Barn on the 14th, so that's sorta out.

I had a guest tell me about walts barn, i thought i might go see it, but then i thought, that's too far for me to drive on my day off, and as cultured as i am, there are only so many things that can hold the attention of and 18 year old who just drove for and hour and a half.

I'm working Sunday, on Storybook. It's a closing shift though, so maybe I could join you all earlier, post details and we shall see. Even if I dont' get to meet up with you, you all can ride my boat, assuming Polar and Cujo (or anyone else at the last meet that shows up for this one) remembers me. If I make it early, I'd be willing to use my sign in pass, heck I still had like 4 left over at the end of this year and I thought I'd run out at one point.
