Stduck wrote:Talked to Gina (or was it Lisa I don't remember) Fantasmic! is getting CDS for clock in/clock out purposes (I think Tim said possibily even to tell you what section you are in and who you lead is). But there are CDS computers all over the Westside and many easy to get to. And you can clock in up to 10 minutes early.

As for GC I love it. Fantasmic! is number 2 on my preference list followed by, Special Events, Parade GSO and Pooh GC. I have a Fantasmic! shift on Friday and if my cold clears up I am anxious to do it.
You LUCKY DUCK!!!!! I am trying to pick up a shift, if they left me. I REALLY WANT A FANTASMIC! ON OPENING DAY!!! It is a good idea, CDS 3.0 to say which section we're in. I wonder if it would help me, me wanting to start early all the time, :D

Hence why my user name is StDUCK -grins- Yeah I'm excited now if -cough, hack, wheeze- I would just feel better I might actually enjoy my shift out there. What I am trying to do is get Thursday of next week off and work Friday (Christmas Eve) instead but Dean in scheduling is being a pain (we'll just talk to Marc)

I thought they won't grant vacations, RDOs, ADOs, or off on Christmas week. My vacation wasn't granted. I just have to plan on calling in all week then. Just first let a manger know I will be calling in.

I love it becuase it is the only times that I can boss guests around, and take out some of my built up aggression out in crowd control. But there are the occassional guests that make my day at crowd control, Who get into other guests faces to defend me, or other cast members. I love thos guests!
I hate crowd control- cause we are forced to deal with people who should be at a fully functioning adult level, if not a HUMAN level- and we don't get the pay difference... and instead of mgmnt standing behind our decisions- they piss on us as the guests $*** on us. We, as castmembers are the skin between the 'rear' and the 'front'- pissed on from one side, $*** on from the other. Egads!

I worked Fantasmic! opening night and the GC rocked! I was with Tim (awesome lead) you know its a good night when your lead won't let you volunteer for a position he just puts you where he needs you. (Lisa and Tim do this to me all the time). I saw DLRFantasmicDan (he wanted me to call in for my shift so he could have it) and GMC. It was fun times. But alas no Fantasmic! for awhile they've got me at the Mansion (which I love)

As a guest I viewed Fantasmic! on opening day. Holy Cow!! I didn't know so many people could be is such a small space at once. Was it close to 10,000 souls? Kudos for the crew that worked crowd control. It was caos trying to move so many people in and out after the performances but it got done. I was cracking up at the sea of heads as everyone was making their way to Main Street through the all too narrow corridor of Adventureland. I miss the old days when I could enjoy the performance sitting center stage down inside the gated planters. It was like having your own box seat. The sound from Tom Sawyer's Island was incredible. You could feel the base for miles around Anaheim (than the prissy locals made the park tone it down with a new sound system).
