Re: Enlighten me.
Bleh. I don't want to sound like a broken record, so this will be my last post. Maybe it's a different message board than the DIS discussion board. If so, my appologies for even bringing this topic up. For the most part, I don't read "entitlement" into most of the threads on that board. I ...

Re: Enlighten me.
I enjoy reading this board as a hopeful future CM. It is entertaining and it keeps my expectations in check. I believe in the need for a place to vent. I simply started this thread because I also read "board X". (Maybe the most popular board x) and I simply don't see all the SGs that I've ...

Re: Enlighten me.
How about not standing up for this board anywhere and maybe the trolls will stop coming here or dragging us into their crap? We know who we are...kinda. They have a good idea who they are...mostly. And I say vote with your clicks (mouse), if you want x, y, z..go where ever it is. The part that is t...

Re: Enlighten me.
I have never made a secret of the fact that I frequent Board X. I'm easy to spot because I use the same screen name (I hate hiding). In all my years there, I really don't remember what you are saying about it. It has been my experience that whenever someone posts something that is negative and/or e...

Re: Enlighten me.
Oh, I absolutely have read some posts that very clearly reveal who the SGs are and their nasty attitudes. When I read those, I either respond by pointing out the errors in their statements, or I ignore them and move on to a more informative or entertaining post. I guess I'm just confused about why a...

Enlighten me.
I'm a huge Disney fan. I pretty much devour everything Disney any chance I get. It comes from great childhood memories of our yearly family vacation. My mom and dad (while still married) would pack up the car and we would drive from Northern CA to Anaheim. We were broke, but they managed a Disney va...

Re: I kid you not...
Yeah, sounds like a first timer to me as well. If I'd never been to WDW, I can imagine how overwhelmed I'd feel, particularly if I hadn't done any research prior to my trip.

Met the most delightful couple..
hey all, Just came back from our June family vacation. Upon leaving the Magic Kingdom one evening, we met an elderly couple who work for Disney a few nights a week celebrating their 55th anniversary. They were employed in the same store..I think it was the main Disney store on the way out of the par...

Hi Heidi, welcome to the family. I have seen the changes over the last 22 years. The are the good days and bad days. The grad nites are a challenge. I had a few of those. Now if I bug scheduling I might be able to snag one. Where did you work at DL? Disney is a good company to stick with. :) I ment...
