Re: ESPN free ice water (WITH PURCHASE ONLY)
I'll throw in my two cents worth... If it is a fast service restaurant or similar, then I don't think it is too out of line to ask for water with your meal and use it with small packets of drink mix that you brought yourself, done discretely of course. Now, if it is a "sit-down" or full s...

This batch file process is called FETCHERRS: Facility to Enter Through the Catalog in HOLLIS End-user Retrieval Requests from Storage. I kid you not..... -Rob That's pretty long winded. You did say Harvard though. Reminds me of a cheer the cheerleaders had at my high school "We requ...

Re: Just got back...
Fantastic Line Information Keeper IIRC. Cool. Thanks. Yup. All names must be acronyms (even "a la carte", though none of us can remember what it is), and it's preferable that they also be the name of a character. Could have done worse than FLIK. Could have named it POCAHONTAS for "Pe...

Re: Just got back...
We did our trip towards the end of Oct 2009. The crowds were not bad either. We stayed at the Regal Sun and walked to Down Town Disney and got to the buses to the resorts. We had our daily walk. We also were there for the food and wine festival. That was allot of fun and we ended up at Epcot each e...

Re: Just got back...
Last year my 2 best friends and I were out at Disney Studios. I forgot to make lunch reservations at 50's prime time cafe. All of us went in and 30 minutes later we got to eat dinner. I am guessing we went on a slow day. I think it was a Monday. Making the reservations is smart ahead of time. If it...

Just got back...
After 6 days of park hopping and 10 hours of driving (broken up with a stay in Gainesville last night) I've forgotten most of them. The interstate is so full of stupid drivers (Really? You're going to come to a dead stop in the Northbound lanes for an ambulance that's in the Southbound lanes?) that ...

Re: Yeti and Carnotaurus on Vacation?
Last I heard (2 weeks ago?) the Yeti is in Mode B, or completely there with a strobe light but no movement. The dinosaur is not moving and is a head on a stick right now. So, mode B is "arm waving but no movement" or no movement at all? IDK if we saw mode B or not when we rode, but after ...

Re: Yeti and Carnotaurus on Vacation?
I've made that same mistake many a time. I'm a California local, but I've heard that the Yeti has had problems. Its not uncommon for animatronics to be taken out of rides to be worked on. It can make the show slightly less exciting, but these things have to happen. It makes more sense than shutting...

Yeti and Carnotaurus on Vacation?
We (me+wife+kid, parents, sister+her family) leave for our 2nd home on Saturday. Parents' 1st trip in 10 years, sisters' first since may 05. So, none of those 6 guests have ridden EE and I don't think parents have ridden Dino! I've made the mistake of "stumbling over to" Board X and saw so...
