Re: seatbelts, lap bars, and other restraints

I always love it when I buckle the kids in myself and then the parent(s) ask if they are buckled in!! (not having their own seat belts on, of course) "NO, I just stared at your 3 to 5 year old child and asked, 'how stupid are you kid?!'" If guests would just look around and obse...

Re: aww, ever had a kid create the magic for YOU?

When you are the waxer (on Matterhorn), you have to get up really early in the morning and clean the 2 to 3 sleds 3 hours before park opening. Well this happened to be an early entry day so I was still waxing when guests are coming in the park. This sucks because everyone and their mother-in-law has...

Re: The hardest question known to man:...How many in your Party?

This has to be the most stupidest answer I got when asking how many do you have? The answer: 0. Yes, 0 and they were serious too! Took them a good 30 seconds to realize they had more than 0 in their party. Boy its going to be a long summer.

Re: ... I'm a Passholder!

I will admit, I was an AP before I worked at Disneyland but I was NEVER the way the AP's are now. I always listened to CM's, respected them and actually looked up to them. Today, it seems like AP's are more of a cult in Disneyland. I always like it when AP's say I'm ruining "the magic" whe...

Re: A Sore Subject

Thanks everybody. A Eastside/Westside landlock would make more sense (at least I think so). Then again I'm not a manager and why would they want to do something that makes sense? I always thought it would be cool to work at Disneyland because you could learn all the attraction but with a lock it jus...

A Sore Subject

Ok, here is the question that has been bugging me for the last 2 years as a cast member, what is the idea of the landlock? It seems like management thought it was a good idea but, as we all know, the RO's don't. I really haven't asked my managers but I brought it up once and they sort of gave a bogu...

Re: Parking Structure Woes

I don't think this is relevent but... I was on the tram one day with some friends and one of the CM's said we're on the way back to Mickey and Friend's blah blah and said "but i can't say what the we cast members call Mickey and Friends Parking Structure." So what do we call it? Besides th...

Re: Current Attraction CM's please help

If I am understanding this correctly, you want to be in a rotation(like rotational bumps) that takes you to different attraction? I really hate to encourage this but the only "attraction" that has different rotations and not landlocked is Classics (East and West). You are, of course, landl...

I had the same kid on Matterhorn! I was at A unload and he got out and thanked me and then dug in his pocket and gave me one of his jewels. I was so surprised I just took it (didn't think much about it) and said thank you. I now keep the jewel in my coat pocket to remind me there are some nice peopl...

I don't know if this was already said but, I hate when guests ask questions then leave. Ex: Guest: "Excuse me where is Indiana Jones?" Me: "turn right..." and guest walks off. I sure hope they know where to go after turning right in front of the castle. I never understand when pe...
