Iused to dread closing a ride alone. UP until about five years ago, you would close Snow White, Toad, Pinnocchio, and Alice by yourself. I would dread the days when people said they saw Smiley, Because somehow he came on the ride where I was by myself EVERY time! How did he do that?!?!?!

My favorite: Somehow, kids knees always grow after they get into the queue at Dumbo. I can't tell you the number of times I rescued stuck Toddlers.

FYI: There is a sign on a door that leads to nothing at the Matterhorn on the fifth floor, where the elevator drops the climbers. This sign reads something like: Do not use this room as a toilet! Use the Restrooms downstairs!

I am sure it is because of the aforementioned incidents...

Yep, you gotta wait. I would say, give them a pager or cell phone number so they can find you if you REALLY want to work.

I know there are several in the top of the matterhorn, in fact, you can see them from the outside if you look carefully. I also heard that they can pinpoint someone with the cameras and follow them throughout the parks.

guess what? I heard from a guest once that space mtn. at DL has a loop. I told them that I thought they were mistaken. This was because I was a loading Cast Member and had helped open the ride just an hour before, and there was no loop. THe guest actually got mad at me and said I was lying ...

I have seen security escort a parent away when they come back to claim a seemingly abandoned child, so they do take it very seriously.
