Re: Something I have always wondered about refunds
I did have an instance where we refunded tickets at MK. A woman came to the booth, obviously distraught and asked if we could refund her purchase. They had just arrived at the resort, bought tickets for the 4 or 5 days, got into MK for about 2 hours and got a call that her mother had died suddenly. ...

Yep..that's what I just heard from an OPS CM over there. Her only regret was that she was on vacation when it happened and didn't get to see the torched body. :twisted:TiggerHappy wrote:I have heard that was the case and the reason why the Tiki Room will be a modified version of the original when it reopens.

Re: Night of Joy
I was at the first Night of Joy with a friend of mine as guests. Those half price tickets for CM's were too good to pass up. It was crowded and not everyone was on their best "Christian" behavior, especially the teenage crowd. We did not see one CM who wasn't performing their role with gra...

Re: Tell me the truth
How would guests feel if we got in their faces and demanded that they smile and look happy because they are at Disney?? Honestly, some people's faces look unhappy even when they are simply in a "neutral" position. The person isn't grumpy, that's just their face. Walking up to ANYONE and de...

Re: DLR employee sent home for wearing muslim head covering
There was a similar case against Target. Muslim employees claimed discrimination because the store sold pork products and as cashiers they were forced to handle them. Target offered the employees transfers to another department to avoid the problem, but the employees refused and went public with the...

Re: This is a new one-Dis Playground police?
There is, in my opinion, a huge difference between the transportation system, which may be used by anyone to access, say, a dining reservation at a resort, vs amenities such as pools (which is very definitely NOT okay) or playgrounds, at a particular resort. Resort hopping for drinks or meals is mo...

Re: Flight Attendant Has Enough
That guest needed to be escorted to the park exit and told to only return when they'd learned manners. Sorry...I don't care if you paid a lot of money to come to the parks, that attitude is deplorable. Someone else posted that there need to be consequences for bad behavior. That comment was not jus...

I find it astounding that some of the people Disney accepts as College Programmers are no better (sometimes even worse) than the SGs they will have to deal with on a daily basis. It gives people who do the CP looking for a networking opportunity, or for the love of the Mouse, or whatever good reaso...

Thanks for the thought. However, this is covered in Traditions. I am just a bit more explicit than the pixie dust laden on your first day with the Company. MAPO I know they mention it, but I'd rather see someone from your dept come in there and tell it like it really is. Maybe it would wake up a fe...
