Re: A SG's complaints were rewarded by Guest Relations. Why?

Our second park day, we went to MK. Her son is in the process of potty training, and he had to pee every 3 minutes because she was giving him cup after cup of juice. Early in the day, she started complaining that MK didn't have enough bathrooms. Her solution to her perceived problem was to let her ...

Re: the United Way can Go F#$@ themselves

I work at a school. Every I have worked there and a few before, we have had a X-mas clothes give away. We would get donations from local agencies and companies and of course employees. At first I thought it was really neat as the kids often came to school in dirty clothes and wore the same clothes d...

Re: Dealing With SG Parents

Teachers are only mandatory reporters when they are working in that capactiy. If I suspect abuse of one of my students or any student at my school I must report it. But lets say I am at my daughter's soccer game and I witness a child being spanked, it is not mandatory that I report that. I feel that...

Re: Good Parenting (no, it's true! I saw it!)

I am 32 years old and I'm *still* pissy about my mother forcing me onto Space Mountain when I was 7. It took me decades to be willing to try it again. My mom is 61 and she still talks about when I was 15 and I forced her and my dad to go on Space Mt. The didn't realize that they would not be able t...

Re: Heelies

I had the pleasure of seeing many kids using Heelies today. Of all places in a crowed narrow viewing room for my daughter's dance class. All kinds of unruly, unwatched siblings are already running all over the place and two girls with heelies are trying to figure out how to use them. One of them bif...

Re: Tigger Accused of smacking a young child.

That kid looked like he was up to no good. He looks as if he is hanging onto Tigger and wasn't going to let him go. I am sure the investigation will prove that Tigger didn't do anything. I understand why the CM did it after reading posts here and other places about kids hitting, chasing, and pushing...

Re: Stupid Restaurant Tricks!

I hate to go anywhere to eat with my SIL, because she is exactly like #5. She and her child are such picky eaters that something is bound to not satisfy them no matter what. Then of course she is rude to the server when it doesn't come out perfect. If you are that damn picky then you should prepare ...

Re: Your Pet Peeves

I just got back from a trip to DLR, my pet peeves this trip were teens and pre-teens making out and groping each other in line. One night these two junior high age kids were going at it in back of us practically rubbing up against my 6 y.o. I moved her and politely said "Don't make out on my da...

Re: Breastfeeding in public (Was "Talking durring attractions")

It is really none of my business how they conduct my life. It does not harm me. Oops, meant to say how they conduct their lives. BirdMom, you are saying what I am thinking. I wish that I could put it as nicely as you. If a stranger from another country read this thread they would think that this is...

Re: Breastfeeding in public (Was "Talking durring attractions")

Point well made. If the other board is so well spoken, then maybe you should chat there. One thing that makes our country great is that the American Revolution made it possible for all people to express an opinion. I think you need to pick your battles, comparing the American Revolution to breastfe...
