Re: Guests with "Unnatural" fears

I've got one! Last time I went to WDW as a guest, I took friends along: Let's call 'em, Bob and Jane, who were my good friends and a couple, and Steve and Emily, who were friends of Bob and Jane and whom I had never met before. (none of these names are real) Emily turned out to have an extreme fear ...

Intellectual property rights?

Is it true that as a CM, anything I create (songs, stories, whatever) are automatically the property of Walt Disney Co.? I heard this awhile ago, and it's only been in the back of my head until recently, when I started to kind of not suck at writing music. Thanks in advance  :(

My #1 worst guest moment

This happened to me near the end of my college program, december 04. Hands down the greatest example of how depraved and low class some people can be, especially now a days. I was outside the Movie Ride working at the front usher position, which entails greeting & welcoming, scanning incoming gu...

Re: Thank you CM's (long)

I speak for many of us when I say that your experience, that type of experience, is precisely what I try to provide when I put my nametag on and go to work. Thank YOU for opening yourself up and letting the inner child shine...it makes all the other intolerables 100% worth dealing with when I can he...

Re: Why dont guests listen!!!!!

There are certain rides I have given up trying to take photos while riding. There is no way to get good pics without the flash on these and I will not use flash. I think some of these people don't know their camera well enough to know how to turn the flash off. The good lord invented the instructio...

Re: Why dont guests listen!!!!!

Hey Val, I too am a veteran of the Great Movie Ride, and I have had COUNTLESS shows with guests I've come to call "strobe lights", who take a million flash pictures (little do they know that the pics turn out better if you leave your flash off anyway). Anyway, I'm not 100% sure if this is ...

Re: What have attractions been called?

Ah, yes, my all-time favorite (and this has been stated as I stood underneath a sign that said, in HUGE block letters, "The Great Movie Ride")

"The Great Movie"
"The Great American Movie Ride"
