My gosh, Cinderella looks like she's a tweaker! That frosting is too wavy for a cake like that--it should be smooth. When my older sister Susan was alive, she got into the Wilton cake stuff, and I remember going through the catalog, showing the different cakes. Smooth buttercream frosting only, unless you needed something like flowers to be more permanent, then you used what they called Royal Icing. One of my younger sisters made a cake following the Wilton book, and by mistake she put Royal Icing in between the layers. Nothing like biting into a piece of cake and hitting "crunch" in the middle!

That would probably put me off cakes for a while. I've never had a crunchy cake and don't want to!!
