What a proposal!

Post by CujoSR » Sun Dec 05, 2004 1:27 pm

I want to take a little liberty on SGT today to tell everyone this. After being close friends for 9 years, yesterday I prosposed to my girlfriend and she said YES! Thought you all should know!

Although she knew I was going to ask, even helped out picking the ring, I decided to catch her off guard and I proposed right in the jewelry shop! Someone had a camera and as soon as I get the picture I will post it up.

Edit: I should mention that Polar will be my best man.

"You're messing with my Zen thing, man."

"Dreams are as portals,
flat visions of misty places,
fragments bound below my surface,
but I can write dreams,
they flow from me,
inscribed but now unbound,
I touch them,
and they are real,
and they are real."

Congratulations to you both! Image

Especially on surprising her. Most girls know they guy's going to marry them long before we catch on.

Next question: Where will you marry and honeymoon? I do happen to know a little place near here that's very nice. I could even get you a discount!

Yeah, Zazu's right. My b/f is planning to and has been for about a year. I've known pretty much for sure for at least 6 months, and was pretty sure the 6 months before that. He's cute though, he's still acting like I don't know and is picking out the ring himself and everything. Oh well, when it happens, it happens

You could try slapping him with a dead fish. Image If he doesn't catch on right away, offer to arrange for him to sleep with same.

Seems to have worked for my wife.
