Stupid Knott's Haunt guests

I posted something a few months ago about rain making DL guests stupider. Well I guess it applies at KBF too. My girlfriend and I, both former DL CMs and her also a former SFMM employee, went to Halloween Haunt last Wednesday only to find out the park was closed because it had rained all day and stopped like an hour before Haunt was supposed to start. Some stupid guest tricks we saw:
-Everyone was bitching at a KBF employee directing traffic in front of the main gate. We were trying to ask him a question but the people in the car next to us kept bitching at him, like it was his fault it rained or that the park was closed.
-We walked up to the main gate to see what we could do with our tickets and we saw a long line for the guest relations window. I asked someone near the back of the line what the line was for. Her response: "I don't know." THEN WHY THE HELL ARE YOU WAITING IN LINE?!
-We decided to eat at Mrs. Knott's and right when we sat down I heard the people at the table next to us bitching at the restaurant manager wanting refunds for their tickets.
Man did we feel those employees' pain and want to smack those stupid guests.

I am the stupidest guest ever. Bar none. I went to my first Haunt last night -- it was great (except for Dead Idol Live breaking down). But, I have been under a lot of stress at work lately --I am literally on my last nerve, and I went to the ACE event at Knott's to relax. Silly me.
Stupid Guest Question (yes, by me, half in tears):

What do you recommend for someone who really just can't stand one more scary person jumping out at her?
Smart Cast Member answer:  Leave the park.

What cracks me up about that there are signs EVERYWHERE that say NO REFUNDS in the event of rain or inclement weather. The Knott's employees tell you BEFORE you buy your tickets. Hell, even the ticket says so. What did those SG's think was going to change by standing in a line? But knowing SG's, someone probably cried loud enough to get some kind of refund or discount. I have to prepare myself for the possiblity it may rain when I buy my tickets and may lose a load of cash. It's October, for crying in a bucket! What did they expect, 90 degree heatwave?

In defense of non-locals....
many people do not know the typical weather patterns in areas of the country outside of their own. Even if they look up a town or city on weather.com, it is not the same as asking a local what the weather will probably be like for a peticular day or week or part of the year.
For example, in the summer in Orlando, most non-locals do not know that although a daily thunderstorm is very probable, it will usually clear up in an hour or two and will again be sunny. That is why most guests will leave the park they are in, because they think it is going to rain the rest of the day.

I havent witnessed many stupid guests yet during Haunt. Except for the occasional "Im a moron and am going to climb over the seat, even though you just opened the door for me" guest, whom I promptly blind with my LED flashlight.

I quit going to Knott's after the Cinco de Mayo Riots. Some dude at a radio station let everyone into Knott's for $5. Every form of trash loaded their wagon up and headed down there and it got pretty ugly.

And then us locals go running off to the park as soon as the raindrops cease and enjoy the relative ghost town! It works especially well at the water parks, particularly if everyone has been kicked out due to the lightning.
